The table is set for Scalded the French bistro hippest part of Quebec. Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . This was our 5th visit,& was disappointing.
We were led to our table between 2 other tables, both occupied by couples who knew each other & continued to talk to each other over us after we sat down.
Food was good,but pairing artichoke hearts from a tin with lamb shanks is not a good flavor match.
Service was acceptable.

Lovely bistro with great food, service & atmosphere. Are here last fall for lunch & it was excellent- seemed to be popular with a lot of local business people. Went February for dinner. Menu changes seasonally. Fantastic skate wing dish. Great wine selection & again great service.
