The table is set for Scalded the French bistro hippest part of Quebec. Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . L'Échaudé is a neighborhood bistro atmosphere, a comfortable dining room or, alternatively, a terrace service on pedestrian street.

Restaurant agréable à prix raisonnable, Large choix de plats originaux & excellents. Bon rapport qualité / prix. Service efficace & très sympathique. Salle agréable & pas trop bruyante. Carte des vins incroyable, une multitude de sélection en provenance de France principalement, mais aussi d'autres régions du monde. Choix varié en demi bouteilles & au verre aussi. Une belle expérience

The best part of L'Echaude is the management & wait staff. The restaurant was packed with a huge combined party & the food was a bit slow but well worth the wait. My Salmon Tartare was wonderful. Also, had a nice bit of cheese to end the meal. Yet, our food manager/wait person was elegant, warm & helpful. This is modern French & I could discern that the restaurant is a draw for both locals & out of towners as well as business folks.

We had a wonderful evening Dinner was excellent- bison entree, lamb & Black Sea bass main, a nice Cote du Rhône wine. Service great & very welcoming, ambiance great. We would highly recommend L'Echaude & look forward to dining there again when we return to Quebec
