Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Honnêtement je trouve ça surfait. J'ai du mal à expliquer la mention Michelin accrochée sur les murs du restaurant!

Nous étions 2 personnes autour de 19h30 un jeudi soir. Nous avions commandé 2 coupes de champagne, 1 tartare saumon repas & 1 tartare boeuf repas, & cela a couté environ 140 $CAD.
Le problème n'était pas tant le prix... C'est surtout que pour ce prix là, la moindre des choses dont on aurait pu s'attendre était d'avoir un service irréprochable alors que le restaurant était loin d'être remplie (ce qui n'était pas le cas - coupe de champagne à 25$ servie dans des coupes en plastique!!! Machine de commande laissée sur la table pendant 15 min, eau non renouvelée pendant 10 min, service en général indélicat).
Quant à la qualité gastronomique c'était bon sans plus... Je ne vous cache pas que les tranches de pains maison accompagnant les tartares avaient une texture & goutaient le carton... mais bon heureusement qu'il y avait des tranches de pain plus normales!

Food was exceptionally good.
Scallops ceviche the best I've had, ever.
Smoke sardine superbly balanced.
Pork is a must-have. Will come back for it.
Wines ok.
Dessert - nothing overly sweet, which was nice. But not remarkable, compared to food.

I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday. It was really good, some things were better than others but overall enjoyable. We had the foie gras tartlet, & maybe I wasn't eating it properly but it was impossible to chew through the leek that was in it making it kind of unpleasant. The foie gras that was in it was good though. The oysters were fresh but had quite of bit of shell in it. For our mains, we had the fettuccine & the duck confit. The fettuccine was over seasoned but was quickly rectified, the duck was good, imo a tad under-seasoned but my gf loved it. The service was excellent.
