We came here to celebrate two birthdays & eat well. We can't over the fact that the oysters are served on rocks instead of ice (what we're used to in the USA). They were also bland & not briny, so now we know. Portions are small & so we ordered apps & entrees to share. They get 5 stars because the server mentioned that they can make anything & as my friend was asking about the taste profile of one of the cocktails on the menu, the server mentioned The Last Word. I haven't been able to get that in the USA because of the chartreuse shortage. So I was so happy to finally taste it again! Ambiance is brightly lit with tables spaced decently apart. Two bathrooms for the entire restaurant. It's right off of the busy tourist streets but the inside is quite calm. They have this item where you can pick 3 appetizers for a set price so we did that. We also did that to try all of the desserts. I loved the Scottish egg that came with the duck but was surprised by the smoked duck slices. The beef tartare entrée was yummy with the fries. The lamb was my favorite dish. Then after dinner it was so convenient to then stroll the cobble stoned streets & walk off dinner a little bit.

Wow! My husband & I ate dinner here one night. The server was so nice & attentive. We had the warm goat cheese appetizer & it was great. I had the wagyu steak & it was incredible. My husband had the duck leg confit & loved it. For dessert I had the Tonka bean creme brulee & it's the best creme brulee I've ever had. 10/10 & highly recommend.

My friend & I had a delicious meal, & what could have been a perfect evening. Unfortunately, our waiter clearly took a dislike to us for some unknown reason, truly he approached our table with an attitude. He was unwelcoming, unfriendly, arrogant. He tossed the wine list onto the table with no explanation- although an explanation might not normally have been needed, the iPad was not on the correct page, & he seemed annoyed with us when we told him. Our warm appetizer appeared (delivered by a very nice person) well before our glasses of wine. We chose not to let this ruin our meal, as I have said the food was excellent. But given a choice between this restaurant & another of equal quality, this experience would give me pause.

Service was excellent. Food was OK, not great. Wagyu beef dish was chewy with a fair amount of gristle. Both the beef & salmon tartare appetizers were superb!

Return visit... decor & ambiance excellent . Extremely busy evening .. wished a table on the terrace which was accommodated with a slight delay . Service attentive until after appetizers.. then very long wait for main courses .. Veal dish served cold on a hot plate ... had to get up to find someone to help out .. dish was replaced with a different piece of veal (same plate).. but new piece of meat very tough .. did not eat ...
Was not charged for plate (appreciated this ..). Left with a somewhat disappointing feeling after many pleasant previous experiences..
Will try again - hopefully on an evening less busy ..

Although the food was excellent, we had to wait almost 1 hour for our main dish following our appetizer. We had to ask one of the servers about our meal as other patrons seated after us received their meals promptly.

The food was good but the service not so much. We sat outside because the waitress said she could turn on the heat lamp but when ask she never did. They served us a drink but never check back in at least 40 minutes to see if we wanted another. We waited 50 minutes for our appetizer "salmon tartare". It was a late dinner, our reservation was 8:30pm so the restaurant wasn't super full to explain the time we waited. Our waitress needs training. A lot of back & forward with nothing in her hands. We were left with dirty/empty dishes on our table.

We had an enjoyable dinner with friends. The service was attentive & helpful. The charcuterie plate appetizer was nice for sampling with four people. The duck confit was excellent, & ample in portion size. The rabbit dish was unusual - the meat was very, very soft - maybe cooked via the sous vide method (?) - so not to everyone's taste - but the accompanying carrots were delicious. The salmon tartare was also excellent. The wine list was extensive. We would be happy to dine there again on our next trip to Quebec City.

This was a recommendation from a friend who has eaten here often, but unfortunately, we did not have a great experience. On the plus side: my friend loved his duck confit/spaetzle, & my boyfriend was very happy with his veal liver. On the negative side: 3 of us ordered oysters, & only one of us had a plate where they were ALL shucked. Two spent most of the time trying to pry the oysters out of their shells. My friend ordered the beef filet mignon & was disappointed that it was so tough. I ordered the 3 appetizer combo. While my oysters were wonderful & perfectly shucked, & my broccoli soup was excellent, the Waldorf salad was SO disappointing. A tiny mound of what looked like soggy coleslaw - overdressed & too much vinegar. It definitely did not look or taste like any Waldorf salad I have ever eaten. & service-wise... the boys received excellent service; the girls had a very difficult time getting either waiter's attention. It was very bizarre. In fact, the girls complained that the servers kept leaving the back door open (leading to the coat rack), & there was a terrible draft flowing right to the table. The server waved it off & said that there was no outside door. We had to get up twice to close the door ourselves. I definitely would not recommend this resto to anyone. Sorry.
