Beautiful menu with extensive wine list. The ambiance is great & the restaurant is not overcharged with tables which give the customer sufficient space.
Attentive welcoming staff. Serving staff lost a bit of continuity towards the end but it does not take anything away from the beautiful evening we had.

We had an enjoyable dinner with friends. The service was attentive & helpful. The charcuterie plate appetizer was nice for sampling with four people. The duck confit was excellent, & ample in portion size. The rabbit dish was unusual - the meat was very, very soft - maybe cooked via the sous vide method (?) - so not to everyone's taste - but the accompanying carrots were delicious. The salmon tartare was also excellent. The wine list was extensive. We would be happy to dine there again on our next trip to Quebec City.

Lovely bistro with great food, service & atmosphere. Are here last fall for lunch & it was excellent- seemed to be popular with a lot of local business people. Went February for dinner. Menu changes seasonally. Fantastic skate wing dish. Great wine selection & again great service.

We had an absolutely perfect meal at L'Échaudé! The restaurant is comfortable, intimate, & refined. The staff were attentive & very welcoming from the moment we walked in the door.

We enjoyed excellent cocktails to begin our meal, followed by a lovely bottle of wine from their extensive selection.

We had a hard time choosing what to eat because everything on the menu looked amazing! We finally decided on a fantastic warm goat cheese & tomato starter, & their elegant version of a Waldorf salad. Our mains were a perfectly-cooked filet & spectacular duck confit - perfect for a cold January evening.

We ended the meal with the Melilot crème brulée, which had a lovely flavor without being overly sweet.

All in all, a perfect evening. We will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful evening Dinner was excellent- bison entree, lamb & Black Sea bass main, a nice Cote du Rhône wine. Service great & very welcoming, ambiance great. We would highly recommend L'Echaude & look forward to dining there again when we return to Quebec

Restaurant ambiance & service was fabulous. Wine list is extremely good!! Had dinner for 2 & food was just alright nothing extraordinary. Beef tartare was standout dish but strip loin was just average with too much gristle, too much mushroom & not a lot of flavour ..

Fine dining at its best. I wish we'd been hungrier & able to sample more of the menu. We both had the saddle of lamb & it was spectacular--inventive but not odd in the combinations, perfectly cooked, & absolutely delicious. The wine list is amazingly extensive, & included a fine range of wines available in half-bottles, a rare feature in my experience & perfect for my wife & me alone. They really know what they're doing here: on the Friday evening we visited, the restaurant was very busy, but there wasn't a hitch anywhere: the service was friendly, knowledgeable, & attentive, & the pacing was just right. If we get back to Quebec City again sometime, this will be the first place we go.
