Les bières sont vraiment super, nous avons testés les galopins avec plusieurs bières.

First time going to the new location. I was a regular customer at the previous location downtown. First of all, it's a down grade as the ambiance is completely different, less welcoming & kinda dull. The service was ok...nothing special. The food (burger) was good (but different than previous location). My opinion is, if you serve a burger as a main course with fries, you there should be a decent amount of them, not 4-5 fries lying flat on the plate. This is ridiculous. If cost for fries is an issue, I recommend upping the price by 3-4$ & doubling the portion. This also goes for the poutine. Receiving a half empty bowl doesn't look good. The burger & fries should be the'flagship meal' for any pub & it's clearly not for this establishment. We had 2 burger plates (1 single patty & 1 double patty), one with fries & the other switch to a poutine (side). 1 pint & 1 glass of beer...87$ (including tip)! This is too expensive considering the portions &'wow' factor. Price is subjective, if the burger was amazing with a good portion of fries with great beer & dynamic setting, the price would have been justified but unfortunately, it wasn't.

J'ai toujours aimé cette microbrasserie. Cependant la dernière fois (08-08-2025 en soirée) la nourriture était exécrable. Nous avons commandé 3 smash burgers : pains extrêment sec & brulés, mini-boulettes non-applatie (en forme de petite boule) & frites mollasses. Nous avons mentionné au serveur qui nous a remercié pour le commentaire... Sinon la bière est toujours exellente.
Really enjoyed our Griendel experience. I had a flight of beer & chose beers recommended by our server. They were some of the most unique beers I've tasted & I love that one of the owners took the time to talk with us about the beers. My wife & I both had a burger & poutine with our beer. The patty was pretty small but tasted great. Poutine was classic. The beer was the highlight.
Belle ambiance, bon service, belle sélection de drinks, mais la cuisine ne vaut vraiment pas ce prix là. Les portions ne comblaient pas notre appétit & ce n'était pas des aliments haut de gamme pour essayer de légitimer ce prix. J'ai pris le burger qui consiste en une boulette de viande, une tranche de tomate, une feuille de laitue, un pain bin normal & une tranche de fromage Kraft, le tout accompagné d'une vingtaine de frites. Ça ne vaut pas 25$. Nous étions un douzaine & plusieurs ont été déçus du repas. Cependant, on a aimé que l'endroit soit sobre, pas trop bruyant, & que le service était gentil & assidu.
Le smash burger était bon mais ne valait vraiment pas son prix. Très déçu par les bières. J'ai aussi été très déçu par la qualité du service reçu. L'accueil & le service était très froid & rushé. Finalement le menu est très difficile à comprendre & les prix sont très élevés pour ce que c'est vraiment. Je ne recommande pas.
Les burgers sont vraiment ordinaires. Déjà le burger pas très bon est 19$, on demande extra moitié salade & moitié frites comme accompagnement, c'est le prix d'un demi burger supplémentaire... on demande sauce piquante c'est un autre extra de 1,50$. Donc on en est à 30$ pour un burger que franchement je ne recommanderais pas. Le vin rouge assez ordinaire, je dirais que la bouteille vaut 15$, on se la fait charger 60$. Honnêtement, ça ne vaut pas du tout le prix. C'est le genre d'endroit qu'on se dit qu'on aurait été mieux servi à la maison & au ⅓ du prix. La bière etait bonne, ce qui vaut les 3 étoiles de l'endroit.
