Incredible meal! The foie gras appetizer with poor man's pudding was delicious, as was the scallop, pork belly & bacon appetizer. The elk entree was also excellent! The place was packed, so having a reservation is a must!

- Seated in the area close to the kitchen heat with no A/C, while only served room temperature water - Time between completion of appetizers & main plates was literally almost one hour - Ordered a grilled cheese sandwich that was described on the menu as including smoked cheddar & bacon marmalade - which is what interested me about the sandwich in the first place. Upon receiving the item, it was PLAIN mozzarella grilled cheese sandwich that anyone could have make at home. When I enquired with the server, he apologized & said that they stopped serving grilled cheese with smoked cheddar & the bacon marmalade...something he failed to mention upon my ordering it. Not certain if the server really put through the wrong order (plain grilled cheese) or if the establishment failed to update their menu....either way - NO excuse for failing to disclose the change; unless the server screwed up the order, or the cook screwed up & the server made an excuse for him. So disappointed, as we were looking forward to this dining experience after researching reviews on a number of forums. This was a failure of EPIC proportions.

Great spot! Friendly staff, cool decor & an overall casual but great vibe. My husband & I ate breakfast there today & yesterday & food was fantastic! They make ham, sausage & bacon (maple) as well as mixed fruit jam in house. So delicious!

On ne se trompe jamais lorsqu'on visite votre établissement.
Menu typiquement québécois & vraiment copieux en plus d'être très goûteux!
Le bacon est un incontournable pour sûr !

We visited QC for five days & had breakfast at La Buche every morning as part of our hotel stay. The food is delicious, the setting delightful, & the servers are skilled & gracious. Everything we ordered was fabulous. The caramel crepes were a particular treat & my husband loved the bacon. They also do a perfect poached egg. This is a very well run establishment. Highly recommend!

Tel que mentionné lors de la dernière évaluation, nous avons adoré notre souper du 17 juillet (le pâté chinois est incroyable!) cependant, nous avons été très déçus de notre déjeuner le matin du 18 juillet. Je ne peux pas justifier payer $6 pour deux tranches de bacon (nous avons commandé une assiette extra de bacon). Ma fille a choisi un coco avec jambon. La tranche de jambon n'était que du gras! Mon autre fille a commandé un coco avec une saucisse. Elle a reçu une demi-saucisse! Le prix que nous avons payé n'était pas justifiable.

Le pâté Chinois est INCROYABLE !!! Le service aussi. La serveuse était bien informé & elle nous a donné de très bons conseils. Tout le monde a aimé son repas & nous avons passé une très belle soirée.

C'est pourquoi nous avons décidé de revenir le lendemain matin pour le déjeuner. Grosse erreur! Nous avons commandé une assiette de bacon...$6 pour deux tranche de bacon...seulement deux tranches de bacon! Mon enfant a commandé 1 coco & une tranche de jambon. La tranche de jambon était que du gras. Mon autre enfant a commandé 1 coco & une saucisse. Elle a reçu la moitié d'une saucisse. Nous avons été grandement déçu avec le déjeuner.
