Très bon service par notre magnifique serveuse de 21 ans au beaux yeux bleus. Ambiance très agréable & conviviale. Rien à dire de négatif sur la nourriture. Les assiettes étais copieuse & vraiment bien balancée au niveau des saveurs . Un pure délice!!!!! Sans oublier le pouding chaumeur & bacon!!!!🥰

Une coche au dessus des restos déjeuners qui courent les rues. Le souci du détail y est (de l'expresso, aux confitures maison, au bacon décadent!)

My fiancé & I just visited Quebec for a few days & were both excited to try this spot. We both read such great reviews & of course the décor was a definite bonus. I am sad to say that we both were not impressed with the food. I ordered the bacon poutine & he got the chicken & waffles.
My poutine was not warm which makes even less sense as its served in a skillet(cheese curds were not melted in the slightest), the beans weren't tasty & the whole dish was Super Salty. The piece of bacon & egg on top were the only good things on my plate. I left hungry.
My Fiancé's chicken & waffles was just ok. Definitely a good piece of chicken but the waffles had a weird consistency & taste. Unfortunately this place did not live up to the hype for us.

We loved this restaurant. Went for breakfast & it was fantastic! I have never tasted better bacon in my whole life. & we love bacon! Everything was exceptional. Also loved the teamwork among the staff. Thank you. Great experience

We had breakfast at La Buche for 2 mornings included with our hotel stay, & it was a highlight! Great Quebecois ambiance, very friendly & attentive service & welcoming to English tourists. The food was delicious with very generous portions. If you like bacon, you're in for a treat - thick cut & candied!

C'est la 2 ème fois que je visite le resto & j'aime beaucoup le concept. J'ai pris le pain doré, c'était excellent! Peut-être offrir le choix entre 1 ou 2 pains vu que c'est une grosse portion... cela permet d'ajouter un site de bacon 😉

We enjoyed having breakfast here for 7 out of 10 days while on vacation. This was part of the breakfast package from the hotel chateau du Pierre. The location is very nice & decor is very cool. I love the bathroom area with tub sink. The staff is super friendly & attentive. The food is great, love the eggs & toast & bacon, cooked perfectly every day. Remember to make your reservations the night before or earlier. On the weekends they were booked & we missed out on two days.

Lovely restaurant, great vibe, interesting & fun sink in the washroom. Everything else other than the food was great. We were 2 families of 4. Our family started our meal with the rabbit wings. Unfortunately they were super dry & the sauce felt too saucy & sweet versus it being lightly sauced. It felt that the sauce was trying to cover up the dryness of the wings. Our next dish was the Pan-Fried Foie Gras & Poor Man's Pudding & Bacon. The Foie-gras was good, but the pudding with it was just too sweet, felt like you were eating sugar with it. The French onion soup was good. The deer tartare was good, but came with too much fries & a salad. Not sure that combo worked. After having read great reviews about the place this sure was a disappointment.
