Excellent menu selection, I loved my thick cut bacon with my eggs & my boyfriend said the quality of his crepes was outstanding. The staff was friendly & very attentive. Will definitely go back.

I have visited Quebec City a number of times & La Buche is a ‘must do'. Breakfasts with the best bacon on Earth, & nice dinner fare. Eclectic Quebecois decor, & wondrful staff. I tell friends who visit Quebec that this is the place to go.

This restaurant has declined in quality & quantity of food. The portion size has shrunk from my first experience post pandemic. Just a very basic breakfast this time. Bacon remains thick, delicious & different from other places.

We have been here twice so far for breakfast during our stay at Hotel Le Clos St Louis in Old Quebec & we love this restaurant! The atmosphere is unique, the service is beyond friendly & helpful & the food is amazing! Best maple bacon ever & the mushroom omelette was to die for. Great place & can't wait to go back!

Fabulous breakfast meal. Had fried chicken & waffles. The maple syrup was deelish. Maple glazed bacon!!! Patois Chinois for breakfast? Yes, yes!! You will not be hungry or disappointed when you leave. Enjoy!

We were caught up in the hype. It's a fun atmosphere & service was outstanding! Food is just mediocre. The red ketchup (more like a relish) is fabulous. They push the bacon on you which is $6 a serving. Check out the restrooms.

We loved La Buche. It was our favorite place to eat in Quebec City. It was pricey like everywhere else in QC. It is in an old sugar shack & decorated so cute. I got the maple & apple french toast & it was tasty but too sweet for my taste. If I got it again I would ask for the caramel/maple cream on the side so I could just use a little bit of it. The maple bacon was yummy. My husband had an omelette which was very good. There is a cute gift shop next door. We bought their jam & maple butter to take home. Good experience, would go again. Great service.
