Excellent breakfasts....fresh & made to order. Our server was friendly, Finn & very efficient. The food came out quickly!

Very popular place & would recommend making a reservation or there could be a long line.

Had 3 breakfasts here. Nice food. Lots of coffee & water. 3 different servers & all were nice. Friendly Quebec Sugar Shack atmosphere. Music is certainly fitting that decor. Next time we'll go for dinner. The menu looked great for that too

Just an excellent ambiance & really great food for both breakfast & dinner... line up for breakfast can be insane so make reservations! Mary Kim & Sandra's in English (can't remember the french way) personalities just add to the perfect experience as they go above & beyond & spend time with you making it more than just taking & serving you your order... spending three nights in Old Town, Quebec City, you experience quite a few places & this is one that you have to experience once at least & if it happens to be breakfast, consider the unlimited Mimosa's for $17.... as that's the kind of deal I've never seen in Canada before!

My adult daughter & I recently spent four nights in Quebec City & went to La Buche for breakfast each day. 💯 recommend it. It's a very unique venue, friendly staff & amazing quality & quantity of food. Don't miss it. It's a destination you don't want to miss.

The waitstaff was incredibly friendly & helpful with recommendations. The food was AMAZING & the coffee was the best we've ever had. One person in our party was gluten free & they had many options available. We ended up going for breakfast twice & dinner once. Each time, our meals were absolutely delicious. Definitely make a reservation on the website, regardless of what day of the week or time of day. They are busy, & rightfully so!

3 days - 3 different breakfasts. Not only plenty of food but very tasty. Such a good spot to fuel you for walking around & seeing the sights or visiting local businesses. Highly recommend!

We had breakfast at La Buche twice as part of the "bed & breakfast " arrangement with L'Hotel Le Clos St Louis & dinner once when the weather kept us close to our hotel. Everything was truly terrific & I highly recommend. Fun & casual but very attentive service. Well prepared food. Favorites include the omlette with mushrooms & bison steak. Very reasonable prices for location & quality.
