A really long snow bar to cram in front of taffy in the year, a live private table in kitchen, a snow aquarium, picnic tables, musicians ... In short, it's damn nice trip to Quebec that you can not miss!

We stayed in an apartment across the street from Le Buche & could see the lines to get in throughout the day. We were not disappointed as we enjoyed both breakfast & dinner. Delicious food. Friendly & attentive staff. We will return when in Quebec.

The staff was very friendly, the food delicious & served quickly & hot. It is the best breakfast restaurant we have ever eaten at. Like Quebec City it is friendly, kind & beyond expectations.

An incredible restaurant on so many levels. Great local food, atmosphere, outstanding staff, service level & location. Reservations a MUST for fast seating but the everpresent line moves fairly fast if you do not. The persistent but short waiting lines of locals & tourists throughout the day attest to their sustained & well deserved popularity. We stayed in a boutique B&B one block away, with the hotel providing daily breakfast vouchers at La Buche. Not only did we eat there every morning but found us coming back for the occasional lunch or dinner. With the plethora of competitive eateries within stones throw distance this restaurant is like a popularity magnet. The staff are always in motion like an orchestrated ballet & attentive. The wait for your food fast to reasonable considering everything is freshly made & of the best local quality. Like the front-of-house the kitchen is a well tuned orchestra.

Great spot! Friendly staff, cool decor & an overall casual but great vibe. My husband & I ate breakfast there today & yesterday & food was fantastic! They make ham, sausage & bacon (maple) as well as mixed fruit jam in house. So delicious!

We visited QC for five days & had breakfast at La Buche every morning as part of our hotel stay. The food is delicious, the setting delightful, & the servers are skilled & gracious. Everything we ordered was fabulous. The caramel crepes were a particular treat & my husband loved the bacon. They also do a perfect poached egg. This is a very well run establishment. Highly recommend!

excellent food served in a fun decor by pleasant wait staff. Priced right, great service, fun atmosphere. We had breakfast here 3 different times. The crepes & omelettes were both delicious. Hightly recommend
