Best restaurant in Quebec City…went for brunch & got the breakfast poutine, eggs Benedict & baked beans. So. Damn. Good. Ended up going back the next day for our final meal in Quebec & got the pig wings (ribs,) meat pie nuggets, the best french onion soup, & the meat pie with venison, followed by the poor mans pudding. The staff was great all around, including a gentleman named Diego. I will for sure be back

This is one of our favourite haunts when we are in Quebec City. Love the vibe. Love the food. We just wish you would bring back the fried chicken & waffles on your breakfast/brunch menu.......

Lives up to the hype. It is an outstanding breakfast spot with really no weaknesses as far as I could tell. Blending traditional French & Canadian staples works out well when executed with as much boldness & passion as does La Buche's kitchen. The smoked trout crepes sound weird but are delicious. Great job.

Recommended by our tour guide. So happy to have taken up his recommendation. Went for breakfast, so good. The French toast a must try. Definitely will go back on our next trip back to QC.

Came here on a Tuesday morning, & we were the third customer having breakfast. More customers started pouring in around 9:30am. Very family friendly atmosphere, & the owner came by several times to make sure eveything was good. If you open the storage room while looking for the toilets then you got the La Buche experience. You will know.🤭

I had such a wonderful breakfast at La Buche. Great vegetarian options. The music & decor felt very Quebecois, which I loved. I very much enjoyed their chocolate crepe & their house hot sauce on my potatoes.

This restaurant was recommended by our friends & it was the perfect spot to take a break during our road trip across the Eastern Coast of Canada on our honeymoon. I am originally Canadian, & I wanted to try the breakfast poutine, however I must admit, it was pretty dry & not up to par with the original poutine recipe from Smoke's that I have continued to love for decades. I was very impressed with the atmosphere of the outdoor patio in the back with the vibrant red color of the table linens & the environment was very comfortable. We were immediately greeted as we walked in & were sat comfortably! The service was a bit slow, as it was very crowded. The bathroom design was very unique (see photos). I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a cozy atmosphere to dine in while touring Quebec City.

A ne pas louper si vous êtes sur Québec. Je n'ai pu que faire un breakfast (qui est sans doute le meilleur que j'ai pu faire) pour le reste je ne doute pas que la qualité est au rendez-vous. L'ambiance est excellente, le décor également. Le tout est une très bonne expérience. Bonne continuation à toute l'équipe.
