This place usually has a line up. I went early for breakfast & it was simply amazing. I had the French toast with caramel & caramelized apples. It tasted like heaven.

So much fun, such good food, super helpful staff. We "never" repeat the same restaurant on vacation but we went to La Buche twice. (& yes, breakfast ham & bacon boiled in maple syrup is decadent but - what the heck - you're on vacation!)

La Bûche was incredible! If I could give it ten stars, I would. The atmosphere was very cool & the staff were friendly & efficient. We sat on the back patio which was lovely. The food was INCREDIBLE. It was the best breakfast we had in Quebec! I had the French toast, which was the best French toast I've ever tried, & my husband had the Quebec crepes & bacon, which was delicious as well. We'll be back!

Hands down, a fantastic place to come for breakfast! If you are in Quebec you must come here! This place has a very funky vibe & an amazing decor. Food is cooked & tastes perfect 👌 The menu is full of surprises! The dishes are plated in a very cool way.

I had the big breakfast & my wife the breakfast casserole. Both were amazing! Great taste, plentiful helpings & very fast & friendly service. Very happy with everything!

Found this awesome breakfast spot on our first morning in Quebec City. It was so good that we had to go back the next day. The service is beyond amazing, everyone was so attentive. But our server Leo D. was exceptional. The food was amazing. Make sure to visit while in Quebec City, you will not regret it!

For breakfast, the food was pretty great. The potatoes were deliciously crispy, the omelette was impressively thin, & the French toast was delicious.

Quebec! Where else in the world, when you come to breakfast at 10 am, can you hear the ENTIRE restaurant singing along to Joe Dassin's "& si tu n'existais pas"?! All visitors are absolutely sober - they sit in this cozy place, cheerfully eating pancakes & waffles. Despite there was clearly enough free spots, we were told that we had to sit at the bar, because we had no reservation. This is kind of strange, but we loved the place overall. The "creative" bathroom looks like a creepy night club with a bathtub in the middle, & thousands of graffiti all over the place, so one can hardly find a door knob (I saw a guest who was struggling with that). The crepes with trout, goat cheese & asparagus were good, & the staff is friendly & attentive.
