The food was good. The atmosphere/decor was great but there are far too many tables for the size of the space. The servers kept knocking my jacket off my chair as the brushed by, that's his close the tables are. I understand the need for many tables in a busy pace, but the patron experience feels second to profit.

Our food was exceptional. We started with the house appetizer & the scallop/pork belly & pea soup. We chose to share the daily poutine (Honey Buffalo chicken poutine) & the meat pie nuggets!! Finished it off with the maple syrup pie & the poor man's pudding!

The flavors are unmatched, decor is unique (the bathrooms are very nostalgic) & our server was wonderful!

Magnifique endroit que ce soit en decoration ou dans l'assiette, on y passe un très bon moment le midi :) c'est une superbe adresse où manger le midi les brunchs sont vraiment bon & le personnel est vraiment très accueillant & serviable 🥰 Le soir en revanche, servi trop rapidement en même temps que le cocktail à l'arrivé & repas froid & un peu plus coûteux que le midi

I have visited Quebec City a number of times & La Buche is a ‘must do'. Breakfasts with the best bacon on Earth, & nice dinner fare. Eclectic Quebecois decor, & wondrful staff. I tell friends who visit Quebec that this is the place to go.

Pierre au service, incroyablement dévouer! L'endroit est incroyable, étant nous même de vrai passionner de forêts, le décors nous as donner l'impression d'être chez nous au chalet! Nourriture juste WoW, qualité, quantité tout étaient là ! Savez vous que l'on mot BON est le début du mot BONHEUR ! Maintenant moi oui !! On ce revoit bientôt ! Ma famille & moi avons déjà hâte de vous revoir !

This is a great place with tons of character a few minutes walk from the Chateau Frontenac in the old town. +++ character decorations - think Canadiana on steroids. Friendly staff. Interesting dishes. Great breakfast (that is what I usually come for). Make sure to save room for dessert!
