Loved everything about this place! Food was excellent, decor was quirky, & server was super friendly. The poor man's pudding was to die for! Highly recommend La Buche while visiting Quebec City!

Really wanted to like the place because the decor was nice & cozy but despite having made a reservation 3 days in advance we were seated right in the passage to the kitchen, which was really busy & uncomfortable, as well as the bright lights & smell of industrial dishwashers. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming as well, the poutine couldn't compete with any basic casse croute & we just found that everything was overpriced for what it was. Sad to say that it was the only place in Québec City in which we've ever been dissatisfied.

La décoration est superbe, & la mignardise qu'ils emmènent avant le repas est la meilleure que j'ai mangé depuis un bon moment!

Je recommande vivement ce resto, & surtout ne passer pas à côté de la soupe à l'oignon 😍

We enjoyed having breakfast here for 7 out of 10 days while on vacation. This was part of the breakfast package from the hotel chateau du Pierre. The location is very nice & decor is very cool. I love the bathroom area with tub sink. The staff is super friendly & attentive. The food is great, love the eggs & toast & bacon, cooked perfectly every day. Remember to make your reservations the night before or earlier. On the weekends they were booked & we missed out on two days.
