Excellent service. The omelet was delicious. The crepes were good but much thicker & dense compared to a traditional French crepe. That is my only small complaint.

We loved La Buche. It was our favorite place to eat in Quebec City. It was pricey like everywhere else in QC. It is in an old sugar shack & decorated so cute. I got the maple & apple french toast & it was tasty but too sweet for my taste. If I got it again I would ask for the caramel/maple cream on the side so I could just use a little bit of it. The maple bacon was yummy. My husband had an omelette which was very good. There is a cute gift shop next door. We bought their jam & maple butter to take home. Good experience, would go again. Great service.

The French toast is super soft, & the apple sauce has just the right balance of sweet & tart! The yogurt is creamy, & the fruit is really fresh. The portions are generous, & the service is really friendly.👍

French toast was overly sweet - could not eat it. Waffles were not cooked enough. Best of all, 2 lovely waitresses & 1 SO FUN older guy!

Good food, authentic Canadian French crepes the way my great grandmother made them. Waiter was unreal, here for moms 80th birthday, unannounced just mentioned we were there for Grammy’s 80th birthday & he gave her a complimentary memosa, laughter, dessert & an apple thing with a large sparkler with a loud birthday song in French! He was amazing. Lumiere from Beauty & the Beast. So amazing I cried.

Exceptional food, service was warm, prompt, offered in French & English, the atmosphere was very cool! Kind of hot inside but maybe that's because we stuffed ourselves silly!

We had the French onion soup, pea soup, bison steak, smoked trout salad, Shepherds pie & ribs. Portions were generous & everything was delicious. The salad was the best I've ever had! The service was excellent. Would definitely go back!

French fries were very dry & unpleasant but the pork ribs were very good same as the Shepard pie. Better serve potato edges or mash potatoes. Cole slaw was very, very small portion. Is the cabbage that expensive in Quebec?
Also the cocktail was not very professional prepared.
