My husband & I had breakfast at La Buche 4 mornings in a row while we were staying at an inn nearby. All were perfection! Eggs, meats, veggies, breads, jam- all delicious! A high light for the sweet tooth is the caramel crepes with lovely fresh fruit. Service was effective & the staff was very pleasant. Fun local decor. Highly recommend & will go back again!

A real family restaurant. We got to know several of the wait staff which made it all the more fun to go back. The French Toast was to die for. The bacon was huge & sweetly smoked. Done to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for good food done right!

We had an amazing meal at La Buche. A great table on the patio at the back of the restaurant, wonderful regional craft beer & exceptional French Canadian inspired appetizers & mains. We had the scallops & candied pork belly for apps & tourtiere & elk flank steak for our mains plus ‘poor man's pudding' for dessert. Every item was excellent! Highly recommend both for the cultural experience & the food quality.

Loved the atmosphere (great music too), service & to die for food! My husband & I chose La Buche for the Canadian inspired cuisine toured on their website. We each had a drink - my husband had a delectable creamy dark ale & I had a refreshing cocktail. Our meals were full of incredible flavor - one house specialty of shepherds pie & the other a salmon pie. We can highly recommend both. Lastly, the service was perfect - everyone was just attentive enough!

I visited this restaurant upon the recommendation from the concierge at the Chateau Frontenac. It was truly an experience - the decor, service & food were all excellent. They have a great kid's menu & unique dishes with a Quebecois flavour. I enjoyed my breakfast so much that I reserved for dinner as well. For breakfast, I loved the crepes with home made smoked salmon, goat cheese & other delicious flavours. For dinner, I loved the deer tartare - many wonderful flavors. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful restaurant.
