Loved the French Canadian, or rather quite traditional Québécois, atmosphere. The server was friendly & interacted great with our young children. I love that our group was seated right near their small yellow old buggy taxi car that the kids could sit/play in. The food was very good! It wasn't as successful as I would have hoped with your young kids. I think it was more that La Buche's twist on pâté chinois & chicken nuggets "looked" different & were slightly unconventional for a kids menu (shredded beef instead of ground beef, served on top instead of bottom layer - & breaded meat "balls" rather than nuggets). But that's more a knock on how fussy my kids are rather than the quality of the food.

C'était bon! Nous avons pris l'omelette gros porc & les gaufres avec le poulet frit. Un café québécois & un mimosa, je dois avouer que le mimosa aurait put gouter un peu plus le jus d'orange, c'était plus de bubbly que d'orange. L'ambiance est bien! Super beau, notre serveur était splendide. Dernière recommandation, mon copain est un sous chef, les patates vous pourriez les faire maison au lieux d'être congelés! Vous êtes dans le coeur du vieux Québec! Donner les touristes quelque chose qu'il n'achèterais pas au super marché! Autre que ça, super.

Excellent restaurant pour déjeuner avec thématique folklore québécois & cabane à sucre. Excellente qualité & originalité pour les choix au menu. Si vous aimez le mimosa, vous devez prendre l'option Mimosa à volonté ! Vous ne le regretterez pas & votre verre ne sera pas vide longtemps à cause d l'excellent service.
