We had Breakfast included when we booked a stay at Hotel Le Clos Saint Louis. The breakfast experience far exceeded our expectations as did the service. It is a very unique dining experiences to discover for one's self. I'd Bacon is appropriate during your dining, strongly recommended. This may seem a strange thing to recommend, but visit the bathroom downstairs. One more thing, loved the music.

Delightful staff, delicious food. Smoked trout & rabbit wings were delicious. Pate a Chinois (shepherd's pie) was outstanding. You have to try maple taffy. Bison steak was prepared perfectly. Did I mention maple taffy? Reservation is highly recommended.

The service is fast & friendly. The food is plentiful & delicious. We ate breakfast at La Buche every day for 5 days straight...loved it every time! Highly recommend (make reservations)!

Wow! Enfin un restaurant à la thématique de notre belle province! Un gout unique du terroir avec une ambiance chaleureuse & accompagné de notre joyeuse musique traditionnelle. Merci à vous, Resto de La Buche pour votre nourriture délicieuse. Je le recommande à tous, d'ici & d'ailleurs!

We ate at La Buche during a 3-day trip to Quebec City from Calgary, Alberta. The restaurant location is within easy walking distance of anyone staying in the old city. The decor & vibe is outdoorsey casual. The food & service were both fantastic! I had the bison game special of the day. My wife had the French onion soup & the Quebec shepherd's pie. The appetizer & both entrees were cooked to perfection & tasted fantastic. I topped off the evening with a famous Quebec Sugar Pie a la mode. Talk about yummy!!! Team members checked on us numerous times throughout our dining experience. Prices were reasonable for a nice restaurant in the somewhat inflated prices of old town Quebec City. Based on our experience we give La Buche 6 out of 5 (that's right) & would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. Reservations are highly recommended as there was a line of would-be patrons waiting to get in when we left around 7:00pm. Bon apettite sur La Buche!
