Absolutely delicious & wonderful environment. It truly lives up to the expectations from other reviews. Very authentic Québécois dishes & the portions are very generous. Would recommend it to anyone not familiar with Québec cooking & to those that, it fills a craving for home. A gem as far as I am concerned.

This place is awesome! The ambience is great, the food is great, the staff is awesome & they do a great job in handling the huge rush at this place! Definitely worth a visit for breakfast, brunch or any meal of the day! We had complimentary breakfast at this restaurant during our stay at an adjacent hotel. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!

This restaurant was My choice for 4 of us for Dinner. Absolutely Horrible?no other word for the food we were served. I wanted the Elk, waited 1-1/2 hours for it, while my dinner mates got their food, & were all finished with their meal!! When it Finally arrived it was more TArTare than my friends app platter & I'd ordered "medium". Bloody bloody.
But worse?the Managers attitude & Excuses! No one's fault?said MIs-communication- NOT! The waitress was quite clear on the order & the failure was with the Cook BUT worse this Manager! The "comp" he gave was ONE bowl of Pea Soup?& that was it.
I had NO dinner & would NOt recommend this place, regardless of the other reviews. They should be ashamed! No way to treat customers. Had he even shown a lick of responsibility?it might have helped. Ugh..stay away.

Delicious food. Great québécois atmosphere. Meal was topped off by my kids trying the maple taffy on ice! Highly recommended for a lively & great dinner.

My husband & I had breakfast at La Buche 4 mornings in a row while we were staying at an inn nearby. All were perfection! Eggs, meats, veggies, breads, jam- all delicious! A high light for the sweet tooth is the caramel crepes with lovely fresh fruit. Service was effective & the staff was very pleasant. Fun local decor. Highly recommend & will go back again!
