The food was great & the waiters were nice. Definitely recommend it! The only thing is that the restaurant is very popular so it can get crowded fast, so if you don't want to miss your chance to have a great meal try to go at least 30 minutes ahead of the main dining hour.

We went there without booking. We waited outside for about 5 minutes only. The place is really authentic with unique decoration. We stayed in the outside area, it was lovely but every corner of this place is unique.
We order a pea soup to start but unfortunately the main course came first. That wasn't a problem as e ate all together.
The food was excellent & the atmosphere vibrant. I highly recommend

A very busy place & clearly geared toward the many (lucky) visitors to the city - & that was not a problem for us! We WANTED the most typical (even stereotypical) Quebecois dinner & we got it! From the Loup Blanc for an aperitif to the pouding choumeur - it was memorable! Our window table opened to the busy July evening street & it was so fun to enjoy our meal & watch the busyness outside. I recommend this place :)

Celebrating my 40th birthday at La Bûche was an extraordinary experience that truly warmed my heart. From the moment we stepped inside, the cozy ambiance wrapped us in a delightful embrace, making us feel right at home.

For my meal, I chose the tartare de cerf, & it was nothing short of divine. The tender game meat was perfectly seasoned, complemented by fresh herbs & a hint of zest that danced on my palate. Each bite was a unique food journey, showcasing the chef's commitment to exceptional ingredients & creativity.

My husband opted for the shepherd's pie, & I must say, he was absolutely right in swearing by it. The rich, flavorful filling was nestled beneath a heavenly layer of golden, creamy mashed potatoes-comfort food at its finest. It was easy to see why he raved about it!

The attentive service added to the overall delight of our evening. Our server was knowledgeable & enthusiastic, enhancing our dining experience with personal touches & thoughtful recommendations.

La Bûche turned out to be not just a meal, but a beautiful memory-a celebration of love, flavors, & life. I can't recommend this gem enough. Thank you for making my 40th birthday so special!
