We were a large group (18) with very little French language skills. The food, service, attitude of servers & the rhythm of how the meal
Was served was delightful. Apparently it was the first day on the job for one of our servers & he, too, was terrific. Communication over email in advance was prompt, friendly, & professional.

My family & I really enjoyed the food at La Buche. Everything was delicious, & we were very satisfied with our choices. The staff was very friendly. We would highly recommend!
Nous avons pris une assiette de 4 à partager, des cocktails & un pouding chômeur. Pour les enfants des poutines & des fudges a la creme qui viennent dans des petites boites ultra cute.
Les plats étaient goûteux & bien cochon ! Copieux, nous recommandons fortement une marche digestive dans la vieille ville ;)
Bref, Une pépite, nous serons heureux d'en faire une de nos adresses incontournables quand nous venons à Québec !
When I first arrived to Quebec, this was one of the first restaurants I went to now that my trip is over. I have to say this was probably the best place I have been to in Quebec.
Hands-down, the food was definitely out of this world, & I just love the corky Ness
& the vibe inside this restaurant
Highly recommended.. also the bathrooms are really neat too. You can wash your hand underneath the bathtub. It's out of this world definitely my kind of style.
My husband & I tried the chicharrón with maple, homemade pickles, deer tartare, bison, sangria & kariboo, & overall, everything was delicious. However, when my husband made the reservation for 8:30, no one mentioned that they close at 9. We could have arrived earlier to enjoy more food & drinks. Despite that, I recommend this place & would go back.
