At La Bûche in Quebec City, the combination of good service, great atmosphere, & outstanding food made for an unforgettable experience. The staff were warm & attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. The tourtière was comforting with its flaky crust & savory filling, while the deer tartare was fresh, tender, & full of flavor. Recommended by our tour guide. So happy to have taken up his recommendation. Went for breakfast, so good. The French toast a must try. Definitely will go back on our next trip back to QC.

Liked the complimentary starter of pork rink, unique combination of salty & sweet caramel. Didn't really like the recommended signature Pate Chinois that I ordered, the red wine braised beef was so dried. Wish I would have ordered some other dish. Ordered draft whitbier too but nothing fancy it was quite watery. For such a highly rated restaurant I would expect more. Service is good with smile but the restaurant quite small so it's a bit smoky for me when it's crowded, & there's no place to hang our jackets so it can be a bit stuffy to be around, also the place i sat was too dim of light.
