A really long snow bar to cram in front of taffy in the year, a live private table in kitchen, a snow aquarium, picnic tables, musicians ... In short, it's damn nice trip to Quebec that you can not miss!

The entrees were of good quality - pate chinois & tourtiere were good. The'shooter' vs.'glass' pour of Karibou were much too close for comfort in size.

Mostly however, the maple butter crepes disappointed. $23 for three crepes that were a. thick & rubbery & b. obviously microwaved (chewy, stale edges) is just upsetting.

Enjoyed Quebec shepherd's pie & an omelet. Breakfast were crispy & thick toast. Maple taffy was a great way to end the meal!!

What a great, cozy, & inviting restaurant! Perfectly prepared traditional Quebec staples, yet elevated! The pâté chinois was very good, as were the tourtiere croquettes.
Their homemade fruit ketchup is also an excellent touch. For dessert, the maple butter pancakes are a must.
The atmosphere was lively, the service super friendly, & I would t hesitate to go back for either lunch or brunch.
Menu has a wide selection, but would have preferred more choices of local beers or ciders.

La Buche accommodated our large party perfectly -
the service was wonderful, food absolutely delicious. Such a cute & warm atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Visited Quebec City for 4 nights & visited La Buche THREE times. Each time was great! Our first visit - Emile was our server… he was absolutely great & was so good to our 8 year old!
You may want to consider a reservation on weekends during Carnival.

J'ai pris l'assiète brunch La Totale. Tout étais excellent. La crèpe au sucre à la crème, miam. Le seul point négatif est la chaleur dans votre terrasse arrière. J'avais le front en sueur, pas confortable du tout, il dois y avoir un 10 à 15 degrés de différence entre votre salle principale & la terrasse couverte.

Quelques points positifs pour commencer : la deco & l'ambiance sont vraiment cool, la carte très traditionnelle & l'équipe vraiment sympa avec un service rapide

Par contre : un service rapide mais on se sent quand même un peu expédié, il y a du monde il faut que ça aille vite. SAUF QUE : nous étions plusieurs groupes à avoir des réservations & avons quand même du attendre plus de 30min dehors sans aucune logique entre les groupes ayant des réservations ou non.
La nourriture est sans intérêt aucun & les portions très petites pour des prix excessifs.

Un endroit qui semble victime de son succès malgré une équipe sympathique.
