Our visit to La Bouche was one of the highlights of our trip to Quebec.

The food was beyond amazing. The jambon is now on my list as one of the best dishes I have ever had in my life - & that is a looooong life. This dish can easily serve two.

Everyone in our party loved the restaurant. The chefs did an amazing job providing a dinner for one member who is vegan.

The atmosphere was fun. Our waitress was unfailingly polite & accepting of our high-school-level French skills.

I wish I knew how to thank my tour guide who, the day before our visit, mentioned La Bouche & recommended it to those of us on the tour. I would never have known to make reservations without him.

Think about opening a branch in St. Louis, Missouri - we actually share a French heritage. You would be the only Quebecois restaurant in town. - That is probably the only way I could experience that jambon once again. It is sad to realize I never will.

We had Breakfast included when we booked a stay at Hotel Le Clos Saint Louis. The breakfast experience far exceeded our expectations as did the service. It is a very unique dining experiences to discover for one's self. I'd Bacon is appropriate during your dining, strongly recommended. This may seem a strange thing to recommend, but visit the bathroom downstairs. One more thing, loved the music.

Amazing Québécois experience Unique & eclectic with amazing food. First time ever saying it but a visit to their restrooms in the basement is a must see for the full experience.
La Bunche will be an every visit to Quebec City dining spot for us in the future.

On dirait une usine à production. Ça courait autour de nous, c'était étourdissant.On se sentait pressé par le personnel qui semblait avoir hâte de donner notre table aux gens en file à la porte. Nos assiettes étaient encore pleines & on nous demandait constamment si on avait terminé. À déconseiller pour passer un moment relaxant!

Delightful staff, delicious food. Smoked trout & rabbit wings were delicious. Pate a Chinois (shepherd's pie) was outstanding. You have to try maple taffy. Bison steak was prepared perfectly. Did I mention maple taffy? Reservation is highly recommended.
