A really long snow bar to cram in front of taffy in the year, a live private table in kitchen, a snow aquarium, picnic tables, musicians ... In short, it's damn nice trip to Quebec that you can not miss!

We ate at La Buche during a 3-day trip to Quebec City from Calgary, Alberta. The restaurant location is within easy walking distance of anyone staying in the old city. The decor & vibe is outdoorsey casual. The food & service were both fantastic! I had the bison game special of the day. My wife had the French onion soup & the Quebec shepherd's pie. The appetizer & both entrees were cooked to perfection & tasted fantastic. I topped off the evening with a famous Quebec Sugar Pie a la mode. Talk about yummy!!! Team members checked on us numerous times throughout our dining experience. Prices were reasonable for a nice restaurant in the somewhat inflated prices of old town Quebec City. Based on our experience we give La Buche 6 out of 5 (that's right) & would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. Reservations are highly recommended as there was a line of would-be patrons waiting to get in when we left around 7:00pm. Bon apettite sur La Buche!

Our family loved everything about this restaurant. The vibe, the music, the FOOD, the service, even the bathrooms. :)
I recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting a relaxing & enjoyable dining experience. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Food was good. Service great. Fun time. The only suggestion is to review how they adjust reservations. We called 2 times to adjust our party & neither was updated in the system when we spoke to the restaurant.

Bon service & bons plats mais disons que ce n'est pas de la haute cuisine. Le pâté chinois était très salé mais la tarte au sirop d'érable était excellente.
