A really long snow bar to cram in front of taffy in the year, a live private table in kitchen, a snow aquarium, picnic tables, musicians ... In short, it's damn nice trip to Quebec that you can not miss!

Je m'attendais à ce que ce soit meilleur. Lorsqu'on a une spécialité, généralement c'est maîtrisé (surtout en prenant compte que nous sommes au QC & que c'est un restaurant traditionnel québécois). Saveurs boff... Très mauvaise expérience au niveau du service... Dommage...

We had a wonderful brunch on Christmas Eve! They were extremely accommodating even when our toddler was having a mini meltdown. Food was delicious! We tried to order a bit of everything & all tasted amazing! Latte was perfection. I would come back just for the latte. My husbands Bloody Mary was so good! Kids menu had just the right portion of fruit & toast with scrambled eggs. Almost every plate was clean. 100% recommend to everyone!

La Buche became our favourite breakfast spot during a recent stay in Quebec City. The ambience is homey & inviting, the food is plentiful/delicious & the staff is very attentive. We had the pleasure of being served by Nicolas on more than one occasion. We found him to be friendly, courteous & prompt in his dealings with us (we also really dug his Christmas Day attire, the most happening ensemble!!). We can't wait to return to La Buche. Merci bien!

Nous avons choisi la Bûche pour notre réveillon de Noël & ce fut un repas divin ! De l'entrée au dessert, en passant par les boissons, tout étaient excellent, les saveurs étaient au rendez-vous. Le service à été de très bonne qualité. Ambiance de Noël. Nous avons sincèrement passés une agréable soirée. Merci la Bûche !

My fiancé & I just visited Quebec for a few days & were both excited to try this spot. We both read such great reviews & of course the décor was a definite bonus. I am sad to say that we both were not impressed with the food. I ordered the bacon poutine & he got the chicken & waffles.
My poutine was not warm which makes even less sense as its served in a skillet(cheese curds were not melted in the slightest), the beans weren't tasty & the whole dish was Super Salty. The piece of bacon & egg on top were the only good things on my plate. I left hungry.
My Fiancé's chicken & waffles was just ok. Definitely a good piece of chicken but the waffles had a weird consistency & taste. Unfortunately this place did not live up to the hype for us.
