A really long snow bar to cram in front of taffy in the year, a live private table in kitchen, a snow aquarium, picnic tables, musicians ... In short, it's damn nice trip to Quebec that you can not miss!

Although service was not quite 5 stars the food & ambience were fantastic & more then made up for it. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to La Bouche & would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Quebec City.

My girlfriend & I came here on 10/8 trying to have a nice date in a city we hadn't been to before. We ordered one starter to share & two main courses & two drinks. Our starters came after the table next to us received their meal (they sat down after us) & our waiter barely checked in on us. We preceded to sit their for the next 45 minutes before I asked a different waiter if our food was coming which he replied he'd check. He never got back to us & then 20 minutes later our food was delivered but it was the incorrect order. Our waiters then said they would change the meal to the correct order & then when we complained about how long it had been (90 minutes total) they said it was our fault & because we ordered a starter. When we tried to just get the check & get out of there they tried to make us feel guilty for them having to make a new meal when they had gotten it wrong in the first place. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of us because of the language barrier & where we were from (us) treating us like we were stupid & just going to go a long with whatever they said. The drinks my girlfriend received "the mule" tasted like syrup & lime juice with no alcohol whatsoever. Overall it ruined our night & was a terrible introduction to Quebec City.

Great atmosphere! The menu can be overwhelming at first but I loved every item I ordered (HIGHLY recommend the Quebec Old Fashioned & Sheppard's Pie)!

All staff were very attentive & friendly. Great place.
