This restaurant is highly rated for very good reasons. The ambience was very comfortable & reminiscent of life in Canada 100 years ago, the service was phenomenal, & most importantly the food was excellent! From the pork rinds with maple & caramel sauce served at the beginning to the poor man's putting that we had for dessert, everything was excellent. The portions were quite large, so you may want to split an entrée so that you don't miss out on that dessert! We would highly recommend this restaurant, & would certainly come back again.

Ambiance conviviale & familiale. Service convenable. Certains plats étaient bons, les autres sont à améliorer (selon mon goût, il y avait trop d'herbes dans le tartare de saumon &, au goût de mon ami, le fromage dans le grilled cheese était trop pané). Le gruau aux bananes & la casserole du bûcheron étaient satisfaisants.

Bel accueil, personnel attentionné. Excellent repas: pâté au saumon « à la Buche »! Un peu cher mais excellent! Nous y retournerons!
