This place is a gem. Fun & cozy atmosphere with a quebecois sugar shack nostalgic decor. & delicious spin on some traditional favourites like the pea soup, pâté chinois (shepherds pie) & salmon tartare. Feels like a place where a lumberjack would take you on a special date. ;)

Wow! Nous avons adoré notre déjeuner à votre restaurant. Décor splendide, nourriture excellente, personnel gentil. Nos enfants ont adoré les crèpes au caramel. Merci!

Lively yet cozy atmosphere & good Quebecois food. This was our second time eating here. The rabbit wings alone are worth the visit. Pea soup was very different from what I've had elsewhere, but it is tasty. One criticism would be the preparation of the green salad. I expected lots of greens & maybe a few carrots like the salad that comes with the tourtiere. What arrived was a plateful of strong onions & scallions with few greens interspersed among some blueberries, carrots & tomato. I can't eat onions, so once I removed them, there wasn't much salad to eat. I'm sure the servers noticed the plateful of onion & scallion I had on the table. I didn't complain, so they didn't mention. There were more greens with the rabbit wings than in the ordered salad! Service was very nice, & the complimentary pickles & pork rinds were delicious. We would certainly return to La Bûche on our next rip to Quebec City.

I had the crêpe salée which was excellent & very tasty, but a bit cold. Very good all in all though & brunch is served until 3pm - so very convenient.

This restaurant is legit awesome. We had the bison steak, the paté chinois, & the salmon tartare & they will are excellent & they all offered big portions.
