A really long snow bar to cram in front of taffy in the year, a live private table in kitchen, a snow aquarium, picnic tables, musicians ... In short, it's damn nice trip to Quebec that you can not miss!

I didn't like 2 things:
- the porc skin was soaked in maple syrup but it was not specified on the menu.
- coffee was bad quality

We had lunch at La Buche on a sunny Saturday in May & it was wonderful! We arrived early for our reservation & enjoyed the decor for a few minutes until we were seated. We were seated on the patio under an umbrella. The service was attentive & the food was yummy with large portions.

Cannot even begin to describe how amazing our experience here was. I brought my parents to Quebec City to celebrate their 50th anniversary, & we were treated in the most special way you can imagine. From when we arrived to when we left, Kalla & the rest of the team were so incredibly kind & sweet. It was BUSY in there, but everyone made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. They brought out complimentary champagne for us, & when Kalla realized that my parents don't drink her immediate reaction was to see what else she could do. Every minute there was special & my dad in particular felt bonded to so many of the wonderful staff, so much so that we ended up with this photo, which they also made time for without hesitation. Thank you thank you thank you, I wanted them to feel special on this trip & your team did that & more.

The design & decor are unique, but the food was really average. Almost everything was overly sweet. The service was also just okay - they forgot to bring the forks, then the milk, then the water.

Overall is good, just maybe my expectation was too high. Omelett was the best, you can really taste the clean/rich egg flavor from the omelette. We also ordered regular 2 egg breakfast & the poutine, not as good as the omelette.
