Food is salty, salad is not too salty but meat pie is way too salty. Not worth the price. Long waiting line even with reservation. Too hot, no AC even outisde is 30°C, can't enjoy the food with that temperature

L'ambiance peut sembler un peu kitsch & touristique. Les prix peuvent sembler un peu cher mais la nourriture est vraiment excellente. Très bonne tourtelle, excellentes frites maison & prodigieuse soupe à l'oignon (un must). Très bons desserts également.

Essen war gut aber sehr deftig und schwer, nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen im Sommer :) Ein Punkt abzug weil die Musik so laut war dass man sich nicht unterhalten konnte. Das ist ein Restaurant nicht eine Bar. Ein Punkt Abzug weil die Toiletten sehr schmutzig waren. Sowas gehört in dieser Preisklasse nicht dazu - war fast respektlos. Ansonsten eher im gehobenen Preissegment vermutlich weil es sehr bekannt und entsprechend gehyped ist.

The best brunch & even best restaurant overall we went to in Quebec. Make reservation few days ahead of time & you can come straight in to enjoy the vibe & great food. Highly recommend Sugar Shack that is a good combination with variety of food & 2 people can share one. Price is reasonable & very nice service. We definitely will come back next time!

We can't speak for the dinner as we only had brunch, but boy, what a great brunch! My husband ordered the french toast with maple bacon & caramel sauce, my oldest & I each got the "Fat Guy" omelette, & my youngest ordered the Nutella waffles. Everything. Every single thing was delicious & the service was excellent. The ambiance is entertainingly niche, as if you entered a logger's cabin in the woods (appropriately so as La Bûche means the log). We are hoping to go back before leaving.
