This was a great place to take in the Canadian style & try local food. Although in a tourist area the food was good quality, the service was really good & it had an authentic atmosphere.

The space was filled with voices, laughter & music, with bold country music of Gaulois. This friendliness you can notice when all over the wooden walls & columns in the house, diners can comfortably leave their signatures & doodles. The menu is a culinary paradise, filled with unique dishes & creative variations in classic meals. Today, I decided to treat myself to "Poulet Frit & Gaufres." This dish is a masterpiece of magical & somewhat impromptu flavor combinations. The fried chicken is an attractive yellow-brown color, crispy on the outside & juicy on the inside. The self-made waffle is soft & light, perfect complement to the delicious chicken. Add a little butter & a little maple syrup, & sweet blueberries for makeup, you will have the feeling, the taste that makes you want to come back for more! Quebeck is home to much great restaurants, but La Buche stands out for its unique cuisine & cozy atmosphere. So when you come to Quebeck, remember to plan a visit to this culinary paradise.
Très belle découverte. J'ai testé la gaufre & le poulet. C'était un délice. Un mélange sucré salé bien dosé avec un poulet très frais & croustillant. Service sympathique, ambiance typique. Pensez à rester. Bref j'ai aimé.
Restaurant de type cabane à sucre, très touristique (vu l'emplacement, rien de bien surprenant). Pas de la grande gastronomie mais les plats sont bons & copieux. Le service est prévenant & l'ambiance dépaysante.
