J'ai pris peur quand la serveuse m'a demandé la cuisson du magret de canard.
Ce dernier est arrivé trop cuit & dur, contrairement aux patates qu'y n'était pas assez cuites.
Au vu du prix du demi magret une sauce maison eu été la bienvenue, plutôt qu'un couche de confiture !!
Au final trop cher pour ce qui est proposé.

What a lovely evening from beginning to end. I had made a reservation & included a request about seating, & from the moment I arrived, it was clear that they had actually read it & taken it into consideration. They found me a lovely place to sit outside in this wonderfully picturesque part of Québec City.

The service throughout the evening was exceptional. As it began to get a little chilly, the host noticed & brought me a blanket, which he actually placed around my shoulders so that I could stay warm & continue enjoying my outdoor table. It was such a thoughtful gesture. I was dining alone, & I honestly can't remember ever having a host pay such kind & attentive attention to me as this young man did. My waiter was wonderful as well-friendly, attentive, & helpful without ever making me feel rushed.

& then there was the food! I started with the gazpacho, which had a distinctly Canadian twist, followed by the bouillabaisse, also with a Canadian interpretation. Both were delicious.

For dessert, I tried their special chocolate cake, a take on a Québec tradition involving McCain chocolate cake. A local guide had told me that I needed to try it even if I thought I was too full for dessert-& that I could always take it with me if necessary. She was right. It was absolutely worth ordering & a wonderful way to finish the meal.

The setting, the food, & especially the warmth of the people made the entire evening memorable. Eating alone can sometimes feel a little anonymous, but here I felt genuinely welcomed & cared for. It was a beautiful first evening in Québec City, & I would happily return.

Best meal I have had in a long time. The lions mane mushrooms were amazing. The duck with blueberry sauce was fabulous. & the strawberry soup for dessert was delicious. Service was great. Highly recommend!!

This is our favorite restaurant in Quebec City. The food & atmosphere are incredible & the staff are the friendliest we have found. We had breakfast there on our last day in the city & in the evening we stopped by hoping to end our trip with dessert at La Buchette. Even though they were packed with reservations, the host, Diego slipped us in & gave us a parting memory of how kind the people of Quebec are, especially at La Buchette.

Prix excessif par rapport à la qualité des plats servis. Temps d'attente des plats très long. J'aurai mis une étoile s'il n'y avait pas eu la jeune dame sympathique au comptoir.

We both ordered the French onion soup. When we took our first bites, the soup was only lukewarm, not hot. We spoke to the
Maître d', who immediately responded with a completely new, fresh & hot bowl of French onion soup for each of us. He was amazing & we were impressed! At no point were we made to feel ill at ease for having raised the issue of the lukewarm soup. Our server, Aimée, was kind & courteous, & did everything in her power to make our lunch experience enjoyable. Merci beaucoup, Aimée! Merci au Maître d'! (0:
