Obviously a lot of people love this place but I thought I'd provide a different perspective. I'll start by saying that the service was great. But overall, it was a very pretentious experience. It felt like they start with "how can we squeeze the most money out of our customers" & then build their menu & experience accordingly. I don't mind expensive ingredients if it serves the gastronomy, but things like caviar, black truffle, foie gras, & even gold flakes all seemed thrown in just to make the dishes more fine dining-y. The meal just wasn't all that tasty, balanced, or satisfying to our palates. For a better culinary experience at a fraction of the price, I'd instead recommend Rioux & Pettigrew down the street.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour ! La chambre était exceptionnelle , une belle cuisinette,un lit & des oreillers hyper confortables ! Dès notre arrivée nous avons été bien accueillie, un personnel courtois & dévoué pour que notre séjour se passe bien !! Je recommande vivement cet hôtel !

First visit to Laurie Raphaël. Had the testing menu on New Years' Day with the suggested wine pairing. Incroyable! The food was superb & the wine matches were exquisite. Very attentive & courteous service.Bravo! We will be back.
