Everything was really great especially the service from the staff, I was sat at a table immediately when i came in, & was served when I was ready, & then my drink came out within only a minute & then my food very quickly after that, the staff are very hospitable, i definitely recommend this place

We ordered La Forestier poutine (vegetarian option) & vegan burger which comes with choice of side & drink. The poutine was amazing! Loaded with cheese & mushrooms. Also the burger was very good. Overall good food with excellent services. Although we don't speak French, the boys tried their best to provide excellent services.

Excellent food! We had the wild mushroom poutine. It had roasted potato chunks instead of fries. Almost felt healthy? Drinks were very good too- several different beers, cider, & home.made sodas.

Had a quick trip to Quebec today with my husband & baby, we dine at Le Chic Shack. The place is very convenient. But I find that the portion is smaller, especially the drinks. Also it would be great if the burgers are still warm. The sides are hot but the burgers aren't warm. But overall, the food taste great.

Great location 👌 can sit outside with views of the chateau but the prices aren't bad considering that! The drinks were sooooo good & so cheap! Lemonade was great & a raspberry daiquiri for 10CAD was a steal! Portions are very generous too! Would recommend as I was a solo traveller not wanting an expensive option! Food came out very fast too.

A conflicted experience is the best way I can describe this place. We entered around lunch with basically NO other customers there. We were seated in a table right along the window opening which was nice. Our orders were taken fairly quickly & we received our sodas within 5 minutes. Unfortunately, the food took almost an HOUR to receive. I'm not even sure how that is possible. Additionally, our orders were not complicated at all. Considering there were basically no others customers in there other than us & one other table, the fact that it took an hour to receive our basic food is unacceptable. No apology was given, no refills to our drinks were offered. They seemed to have enough staff, so I'm not sure what the issue was. I see many other reviews mentioning the slow times as well, so clearly this is a consistent issue at this place. The food was good, sodas were excellent, & our orders were exactly correct, but based on the wait time this is not a place I would return to. If you visit when this place is busy... I fear it would take 2+ hours to get your food.

The food is really good. Today I ordered the Le Shack with fries. 10 minutes later sorry no fries. Substitute sweet fries or chips. Meal arrives no drinks. Ask for our drinks. Yes they are on the way. Half through our meal I head to the bar to get my drinks. Eating fries & the ketchup is empty. The new bottle was only a few minutes. Waiter kept saying sorry. We are from out of province & enjoy going there but two years in a row with poor service. Celebrating my wife's birthday this week. This place will not be on the list. Lots of selection around & easy to get good food & good service.

Our order was A bison burgers one with green salad another with fries. As a drink we had blood orange soda & chic coke. Food was delicious: burger amazing, salad very fresh & sour, fries definitely the best in whole Quebec!!! Blood orange drink was like a lemonade, very refreshing. But for the homemade coke double think before ordering, something was odd with a flavour & a taste.

Trappe à touristes ! Je pensais manger un excellent burger .... & c'est vraiment ordinaire. Le pain est bon mais la boulette goûtait celle que je fait à la maison quand il ne me reste plus rien. Manque d'asaisonnment. Service à l'accueil, jeune homme souriant, quel contraste avec la serveuse blonde qui préfère jaser avec ses collègues au lieu de servir ses clients. Moment de malaise lorsque j'ai voulu lui rappeller que j'avais commandé un drink ....j'ai reçu le burger bien avant....ça m'a valu un live de conversation de 2 minutes avec sa collègue (pas de vision périphérique pour les 2 !?) Un "side eye" avec un "ça s'en vient" ordinaire ! Le drink, une "michelada" maison, goûtait comme si il avait été fait avec de la vieille glace ....je ne sais pas ce qui n'allait pas, mais ça n'allait pas ! 1 burger + 1 drink + 15% de pourboire (pas mérité par la serveuse) = $35+ .

Pleasant crew, delicious poutine, real potatoes instead of fries, homemade soda drink. Everything was fantastic. Will recommend it to anyone who's looking for authentic food.
