Cool atmosphere, clearly very popular. Stood for almost 5 mins at the entrance where it asks you to stand, with no staff coming to the door. Classic poutines arrived fast for gone 1:30pm, but were luke warm at best & lacked...real flavour. Almost like it had no salt, & the curds were cool like they'd just come from the fridge & were put on top & got warmed by the barely warm gravy. It was just...fine really, yet the place is rated as having the best somehow. Pretty disappointed overall. Sodas are really good though, like lemonade mixed with fresh fruit pulp.

great food with great service! food portion is just right. i had the braised beef poutine & it was really good specially when you put there hot sauce it goes really well with it. the whole family enjoyed everything.

Excellent food! We had the wild mushroom poutine. It had roasted potato chunks instead of fries. Almost felt healthy? Drinks were very good too- several different beers, cider, & home.made sodas.

We were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff, especially the waiters, who went out of their way to set up the exact table we wanted. The restaurant has a fantastic location with great views, which adds to the experience. We had the Classic Quebec Poutine, which was delicious! They also have a good selection of beers. Prices are moderate, considering the quality & service. Definitely a place we would return to.

Delicious mushroom poutine today - our "small" serve was plenty for lunch. Pilsner beer was worthy accompaniment- & at a great price. Our lovely waitress spared no effort in warmly welcoming us, promptly taking our orders & serving the food. We will be back!!

After trying poutine at a number of other places, we keep thinking back to the poutine done here. They got the balance between the key ingredients just right from both taste & texture perspectives. The cheese curds were soft & plentiful, the fries were cooked perfectly & had great crunch yet it absorbed the richness of the gravy, which brought everything together. Similar to the poutine, the salad had a well devised mix of grains & veg: some roasted, some raw for a complex bite in each spoonful. It paired incredibly well with all the warm dishes & negated much of the fattiness from fried stuff. Finally, it was difficult to go without a good burger, a beer & some of their own house-made sodas. Big kudos for the chef team for devising a menu that was interesting with its variety yet also stayed true on execution of the traditional recipes. Not to mention, great service from the staff. We highly recommend a visit here the next time you are in town.

C'est Ok, mais nous avions une invitée d'Europe qui voulait essayer sa première poutine. La serveuse a même eue l'amabilité de lui faire goûter quelques morceaux de fromages en grains avant. Peut-être être que dans la région de la ville de Québec, les poutines sont faites avec des morceaux de patates de 1 pcs x 1 pcs, mais j'aurais aimé que la serveuse nous avisent, car ce n'est pas clair dans le menu... Je suis de Montréal, & c'est la deuxième fois que je mange de la poutine avec des patates en morceaux. Mais la poutine était OK, sans plus.

Une bonne poutine originale, un service agréable & rapide & une bonne bière... que demander de plus. Nous avons apprécié. Nous avons pris la petite chacun cela était suffisant pour rester alerte le restant de l'après midi.

L'ambiance est agréable & le service a été efficace malgré l'affluence dans le restaurant. La poutine au kimchi était savoureuse, avec une touche orientale qui apportait une saveur différente. Cependant, le burger de bison manquait de saveur & était décevant.
