Three times I asked for the poutine to come out first. But the poutine & both burgers came together. Three times!! The burgers were great, the poutine, the reason we came here was not great. I've had better poutine in Ireland. I have two more days to find a better poutine.Update later!

Came on a busy Sunday & we are seated after about 10 minutes. Service was very prompt & courteous. Enjoyed a nice rousse lager & their cider. Loved the veggie burger & vegan poutine. Nice atmosphere in a classic old building.

Belle petite terrasse, bel emplacement. Le service est un peu lent, mais les employés sont sympathiques. La nourriture est correcte. Les poutines sont faites avec des patates en cubes & non des frites. Les sodas maisons manquent un peu de goût. Les frites de patates douces sont bonnes & croustillantes & la salade également. Je trouve les prix un peu élevés si je compare à d'autres restos de ce genre.

La cuisine n'est pas mauvaise, mais ce n'est pas une poutine. Les frites ne sont pas des frites (cubes de pommes de terre), la sauce brune n'est pas de la sauce brune, par contre le fromage kwick-kwick est très bon & frais ! Les sodas sont maison & sont bons.

Non mais dsl nous sommes a quebec & on serve des patates de dejeuner Dans un poutine mais deception total !!! Je men attends de un poutine comme ca a ottawa....

my friends & i came here because it looked pretty & fun. do not come here. it's a tourist suck in. the food is bad & they serve poutine with potato chunks. poutine was almost perfect... until we saw the potato chunks. in the short run all of the other reviews our bad too! & why do the payed customers need a code in the bathroom?

I recently dined at Le Chic Shack, located conveniently near Château Frontenac, & it was a delightful experience. The food was good, & the staff were incredibly friendly, making the visit enjoyable from the moment I walked in. The ambiance, while crowded, added to the lively atmosphere, making it a great spot for social dining. Given its popularity, there is usually a bit of a wait during peak hours, but it's definitely worth it. One standout dish was the mushroom poutine with chicken. It was simply awesome. The diced potatoes, as opposed to traditional French fries, were a pleasant surprise & added a unique twist to the dish. Overall, Le Chic Shack offers a great dining experience with delicious food, friendly service, & a vibrant atmosphere. It's definitely worth a visit!
