Opened in 2012 by Lucy and Evan Price (co-owners of L’Auberge Saint-Antoine), Le Chic Shack offers delicious burgers, poutines, salads, shakes and sodas crafted from fresh quality ingredients that have been carefully sourced from a select group of local purveyors. I had the whisky smoked mushroom burger. Good burger. A fairly wide selection of burgers to choose from. They get pretty creative with the poutine too. My kids said the fries should have had more seasoning.

J'y vais souvent & la nourriture est bonne. Toutefois, lors de ma dernière visite, j'ai été offusqué & insulté de constater que notre serveur avait, à deux reprises, présenter le terminal de paiement en passant outre à l'étape du pourboire manuel ou sans pourboire, m'obligeant ainsi à laisser un pourboire au pourcentage calculé sur le total de la facture après les taxes. Sûrement qu'il nous prenait pour des touristes qui n'y verraient rien mais malheureusement pour lui je suis de Québec. Nous avons là un bel exemple de trap à touristes.

Excellent choice of poutine & other good food. We shared a few regular balls of different types of poutine for the table Small place so at busy times you might have to wait. Servers were excellent. Highly recommend.

Everything was really great especially the service from the staff, I was sat at a table immediately when i came in, & was served when I was ready, & then my drink came out within only a minute & then my food very quickly after that, the staff are very hospitable, i definitely recommend this place

I wanted to really like this place, but combined with the wait to get in here & the mediocre food, it wasn't worth it. There are many better places to eat in Quebec City. The washroom didn't even have soap in it. It gets a bit of a better rating since the milkshake was really good, but the poutine wasn't the best I've had in Quebec City.
