Opened in 2012 by Lucy and Evan Price (co-owners of L’Auberge Saint-Antoine), Le Chic Shack offers delicious burgers, poutines, salads, shakes and sodas crafted from fresh quality ingredients that have been carefully sourced from a select group of local purveyors. From our bison to our lobster, Le Chic Shack is committed to utilizing the highest quality ingredients.

The poutine is served with cubed potatoes that makes it very weird honestly, & also was too juicy. When I was halfway to finish it was practically a soup. My girlfriend had de Chic Burger & I had the Poutine. The main reason of the rating provided is because 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant, my girlfriend & I started to have stomachache & 10 minutes later we had one of the worst diarreah that we've ever had.

Great location 👌 can sit outside with views of the chateau but the prices aren't bad considering that! The drinks were sooooo good & so cheap! Lemonade was great & a raspberry daiquiri for 10CAD was a steal! Portions are very generous too! Would recommend as I was a solo traveller not wanting an expensive option! Food came out very fast too.

When I told them i was allergic to dairy, the waitress told me, "for next time, we don't cater people with allergy." How rude & condescending. The food was good though.

Super restaurant de burger dans le vieux Québec. Mes amis ont tous pris un burger & ils goûtaient vraiment bon. Moi j'ai pris la poutine classique & wow elle était bonne!!! Ce n'est pas des frites mais des quartiers de pommes de terres rôties & c'était excellent. Je recommande!

Great burger choice & all freshly cooked with some great meat. Loads of flavours to the meals & the poutine was amazing. Love the unique sodas they have & nice to be different on this front. Lovely view of chateau frontinaque as well.

This restaurant was supposed to have the best poutine in the city so gave it a try. Good points - street view was nice from our seats, waiters were friendly & food came quickly. The $5 soup special, sweet potato was delicious. Unfortunately, the reason we came, the $21 Smoked meat poutine was ok. You could tell they put the potatoes, gravy & curds on ahead of time as the gravy was already congealing, then extras were piled on as needed. Was not bad just lukewarm & mushy. No attention to detail. Not special, not unique, not even hot, went for the poutine, disappointed.

Staff is friendly & very helpful however the burger are not as good as you would expect, dry meat & small portions. You probably better get poutine as the fries were good.
