Went there today for lunch. BEST place. 10/10 customer service.

This was my first restaurant in Quebec City where server came & ask that how is my food tasting so far.

Ordered Strawberry milkshake & Mango soda…. Both are must try.

Ordered veggie burger meal the patty was absolutely delicious & flavourful. It is a MUST TRY!!!!!!

Overall the experience was just amazing.
If you are visiting old Quebec, do visit this place. You won’t regret:)

We stopped here for lunch one day in July. In fact, we had tried the day before but there was a line of people out the door so we came back earlier the next day. Well worth it! The service was friendly & attentive & the food & drink was all excellent. Would definitely return if we are ever back in Quebec :)

The poutine at this restaurant was recommended by our Bed & Breakfast owner so we decided to check it out.
There was no wait which was nice (Monday night)! We ordered poutine & a shake. The poutine was OK but nothing great. The shake was delicious. Our waiter was very kind but seemed to be managing most of the tables inside by himself so it took a while to get refills & our ticket. For two regular poutine & one shake the total was over $40. Overall, I felt it was too pricey & I probably wouldn't visit again.

I had to stand at the door for more than 10 minutes to wait for leading me. They passed me many times, but no one cared. Once I sat down I waited for another 10 minutes for waiters to come over. I waved a few times, again no one bothered to come over. The food was very plain. No worth it to go.

Un très bonne découverte. Les burgers sont très bons & leur Sodas sont vraiment excellents !!! Surtout celui à la mangue !
Les frites aussi etaient bonnes sauf que les miennes étaient froides & plus durs que celle de mon conjoint d'où l'étoile en moins. A part ça je recommande ce restaurant !

Update, 30 septembre 2023 : nous sommes retournés dans ce restaurant avec de la famille, & c'était encore une fois excellent, les Chips sont très bonnes ainsi que les burgers. Le service était impeccable !

Food was pretty disappointing mostly because the two burgers & the poutine were cold. The braised beef in the shack burger was like chewing a brick. The Robust was a good burger but it could have been better if served hot or at least warm. Surprised they served us food colder than room temperature.

Found it searching for "You Gotta Eat Here" & they weren't wrong! Located within the old part of Quebec City, we had a seat looking out the open windows with a cool breeze & listening to a nearby street performer singing greatest hits & entertaining the crowd.

I had the Le Robuste bison patty burger & a Salted Maple Caramel milkshake, my wife had Le Chiquito burger & Iced Tea, & we split a large Maple & Pepper Chips. Flame grilled, cooked to perfection, dressed to the nines both burgers were very tasty & satisfying. The chips were sweet & peppery with the maple syrup & pepper & the portion of chips was large indeed. We didn't even have room for dessert after.

Serving staff were very friendly & had a sense of humour. Overall, an excellent meal & an excellent time!
