The space is beautiful, the servers are friendly & attentive, & the cocktails were wonderfully balanced (almost dangerously good!). The homemade bread & butter were delicious, & I'm glad we ordered them since none of the dishes we chose came with carbs. For example, we ordered the beef tartare & beef tongue, both of which we thought would have been even better with a carb accompaniment.

For our main, we had been looking forward to trying the fish of the day, but unfortunately it wasn't available when we visited. Since the restaurant is on the Michelin Guide, we came in with high expectations, so that was a little disappointing. The only other protein option was pork belly, which we weren't in the mood for. Overall, the meal had excellent qualities & we enjoyed the experience!

Such a beautiful place in Quebec with amazing quality & flavors! Loved the green interior it felt so welcoming & artsy. The staff is so nice & willing to explain each menu item. The flavors of the dishes were so exotic & unique, & many were definitely an acquired taste. You have to be an adventurous eater to enjoy everything. Everything is so fresh & presented beautifully. I really enjoyed the lion's mane mushroom dish & the lemon pasta specifically. The others were great as well, but not AS standout. Portions were quite small but that is expected, so you have to order many to feel full. For a Michelin restaurant, the prices were great! Coming to be around ~$50 USD per person!

I stumbled upon this restaurant on a blog & made a reservation immediately. They're not open for very long. They have Small plates that are very specialized. The cocktail I had, the Tokyo, was incredibly balanced & tasty. The food took a while to arrive but it was very good. We had the bread with butter, the foie gras (not my favorite but my parents liked it), & for main dishes we had the fish of the day, the pasta, & the lion's mane mushroom. Each dish had an incredible amount of flavor. I enjoyed that the most

Absolutely the best meal we had in Quebec & my favorite meal during our time in Montreal & Quebec City. We went for my mother's birthday & every dish was memorable & well made. We got 4 drinks, the bread & compound butter, the fried maitake, the foie gras, a lemon pasta, the lobster & pork, & the cod. The baked Alaska was also fantastic for dessert. Everything was delicious. Enjoyed it so much I even cleaned the plate of things I don't typically like. Our reservation was at 9 & service was fantastic. The price was also shockingly affordable. We were joking that the price is the same as fast food back home. I've spent way more in Austin, Texas where the food was nowhere near as inspiring. We are talking about trying to remake some of the dishes when we get back to the states. Would come back again!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Le Clocher Penché during our visit to Quebec City. The restaurant has beautiful interior design & the customer service was warm & attentive throughout the evening.

We ordered the fried mushrooms, bread with compound butter, lion's mane mushroom dish, & the fish of the day, which was halibut. The staff was incredibly accommodating with my dietary restrictions & kindly substituted the nduja sauce with a salsa verde instead. The salsa verde was fresh, vibrant, full of texture, & paired perfectly with the fish. It ended up being one of my favourite dishes from the entire trip.

We also really enjoyed the bread & compound butter along with the lion's mane dish. The fried mushrooms were good, though we felt the batter absorbed a bit too much oil & could have benefited from more crunch to better highlight the flavour of the mushrooms themselves.

For dessert, we tried both the baked Alaska & the salted crème brûlée. Although the presentation of the crème brûlée could have been a bit better, the flavour was excellent. The addition of sea salt gave it a unique twist that made it stand out from a traditional crème brûlée.

Overall, this was a memorable meal with thoughtful service, creative dishes, & a beautiful atmosphere. We would gladly return on a future visit to Quebec City.

Wow! We found this place on Google & knew very little before arriving. We are very glad to have found it as the experience was outstanding. All of the dishes were utterly delicious, the wine (a local Quebec wine) was sensational & the service, especially from Mélanie, was exemplary. Mélanie was an expert in every aspect of every dish & made fantastic recommendations about both the food & wine. Our highlights were the beef tongue starter, the pork belly & lobster, the trottole plaster (a real dark horse) & the baked Alaska. We wish we were staying for longer so we could try everything else on the menu. Ridiculously good value for money - do not miss the opportunity!

A friend who we were dining with recommended this very lovely, Michelin Guide-listed restaurant. The place had a really nice ambience, was very well presented, & the service was very friendly & efficient.

The menu took a little explaining, but then we had such a great choice of wonderfully created dishes.

Eventually, I settled on:

- Lamb moussaka + mornay + eggplant + tomato coulis + chip

-Trottole al limone + parmesan + mascarpone + tarragon + hazelnut

- Baked Alaska + frozen parfait + italian meringue + blueberry

The moussaka was rich & full of flavour, with shredded lamb. A great way to start. The trotolle pasta was deliciously cheesy, but fresh & lemony. The baked Alaska was very nicely done. What a great meal! Highly recommended.

Professional but friendly service, super dishes done with a creative touch which we did by sharing. Wines for all tastes, very fairly priced. Will be our first choice next time in Québec City.

Incredible experience from beginning to end. We received Le Clocher Penche as a recommendation by one of the servers at Mon Lapin in Montreal. Upon arrival, we had a welcoming & informative server who was kind enough to translate in English for us since our French wasn't very good. All of our dishes were delicious & same with the cocktails & local Quebecois wine I tried. Would love to come here again any time I visit Quebec City.
