This place was amazing! Our server was so attentive & lovely & they were able to make modifications to dishes I had so that they were gluten free & dairy free for me. It was very nice of her to speak French with us so that we could practice. The cod was fantastic; perfectly cooked & some of the best cod I've ever had. Bar programme is also top notch. Mocktails were perfect, especially enjoyed the Mocky Ruby. Thanks to all the staff for making our dinner here extra special.
In search for the best French restaurant in Quebec, we ended with up @leclocherpenche. Exceptional was an understatement. Menu was simple, prices were reasonable & dishes were executed carefully. Service was topnotch by Livia. I would definitely recommend & come back for the scallops, the fish of the day in Romesco sauce & their homemade butter. Parking was limited due to an ongoing construction. ❤️🇨🇦👌
Great food & service. Scallops, Lion's Mane (mushroom), & crème brûlée were our favorites. Helpful explanation of all dishes in French or English. Friendly service. Restaurant atmosphere was great with an open kitchen. Was a hot day - restaurant room could have been cooler for comfort but can't complain as we weren't the ones in the kitchen! Recommend!

This was a highlight of my Quebec City trip. All of the dishes we ordered were amazing. The cocktails were delicious, the service was wonderful. 10/10, would recommend.
A wonderful gem in the heart of Saint Roch. A little pricy but totally worth it, such an experience from beginning to end. The wait staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly & welcoming & at the same time top notch professional. Small bites but everything was delicious & beautifully presented, including the cute little cocktails. I wish I had more photos but we were too excited to try everything as it was served (except for the buckwheat endive salad & desserts which were a little weaker than the seafood plates). After explaining that we were sharing, we appreciated having the dishes come out in an appropriate order & the thorough explanations provided with each. This should be the goal post for any restaurant serving small portions at these price levels, & indeed we enjoyed this better than anything in Toronto. Would love to return next time I'm in Quebec City.
This restaurant is exquisite. Each dish was fabulous & the service was top notch. Honestly one of the better meals my wife & I had in a while. Some stand out dishes.... The crab, the endive salad, the blood pudding, & the cheese. Do yourself a favor & go here.
absolutely delicious & hoping to return again soon after our first experience. drinks were great. I really enjoyed the strawberry cocktail, it was a bit spicy & very delicious. as an app, we had the fresh cheese & bread. fresh cheese with the duck & artichoke was a heavenly bite. the beef dish was incredible & will be dreamt of for a while - smoky & delectable. the pasta dish was a nice, fresh & acidic contrast. the desserts left a bit more to be desired after the complex dishes prior but good nonetheless. the service was friendly & attentive. I really enjoyed my experience & can't wait to return.
Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, wait staff very helpful & friendly. They were happy to speak to us in English as our French is not very good & took time to explain what the dishes were. Food was well presented & just absolutely delicious!
We had dinner there. Loved the place. Just 4 or 5 appetizer, 4 5 mains, 3 dessert. The waiter will come to the table & explain the whole menu ❤️Interesting dishes, & very well executed. Butternut squash with duck ham & egg. Crispy bacon with shrimp & kale salad. Blood pudding, apple & potato. Atlantic cod with cauliflower, swiss chard & radicchio. Good cocktails. Reservations highly recommended.
My wife & I just had an incredible meal full of bursting flavors. I didn't catch our waitresses' name, but the service was incredible. She was extremely friendly & knowledgeable about the food. All done with a smile. We were assigned a corner table, which I had requested, so thank you for paying attention to the small details. We enjoyed every meal & will come back for new seasonal dishes when we return to Quebec City. Well done to the whole team at your restaurant.
