This restaurant is fantastic! Do not hesitate to make a reservation. The Caesar salad is made at the table & its is the best one I have had! The steak au poivre is to die for. We were a group of 9 people & we all agreed that this restaurant is hands down the best we've had since we arrived in Quebec city. SKIP Champlain at the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac & DO go to Le Continental just around the corner. You will not be disappointed. The flambe steaks & crepes made table side at Le Continental are great entertainment for the kids & our waiter/chef did include our son in the flambe process which was nice of them to do.
We ordered lots of different items off the menu like the cheese croquettes, pate, foie gras, & it was all delectable. We truly enjoyed our meal & will return! Unfortunately they do not open for lunch but do book ahead of time for a dinner reservation. Cheers!

Top notch service. Valet parking, coat check. Excellent value for money.
The Caesar salad was the best I have had ever. The waiter mad it from scratch at our table. Had the veal & Salmon. Excellent food.

Making food at table side is very appealing. Wonderful service by the entire staff. I feel that when preparing your food at your table, the person cooking the food should start by mentioning the ingredients & quantities, so that the patron can have a say in the preparation. Example: the amount of Parmesan put into the Caesar salad was obscene. I would have loved to been asked a d would have limited the quantity of Parmesan cheese added to the salad.

Lovely experience. Elegant & refined setting. My husband & I shared an order of escargot in the shells for an appetizer. The Caesar salad for two was prepared table side & was fresh & delicious. Also prepared table side were the Chateaubriand for two & the flambeed peaches which were all expertly prepared & presented with great flair. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience amazing food. The caesars salad, the chateaubriand & the crepe suzette were prepared right at our table. Even that made the dining experience very special. Everything was just first class!

We were visiting our home town, Québec City, & included our favourite restaurant, Le Continental. We were so happy to see the standards were every bit as high as we remembered. We loved our delicious canard à l'orange, elegantly prepared at our table. We also enjoyed our fondue parmesan, & our companions really liked their Caesar salad entrée. The staff were pleasant & very efficient, but not pushy or snobby. A memorable meal! Not cheap, but well worth the money! Be sure to reserve well ahead!

Fantastic as always! Perfectly prepared steak at the table & the Caesar salad was second to none. Now if they could just find the switch to turn down the freezing air conditioning it would be heaven. We almost ordered the flambé poach paired just to keep warm!

We made this our last dinner in QC & it was spectacular! The meal was outstanding / steaks were prepared table side, as was the Caesar salad. The service was impeccable - total pros! Maybe one of the best meals we have ever had ( & we are picky!)

excellent service au guéridon, mais nourriture un peu décevante. Les noix de ris de veau étaient peu réussies & le canard à l'orange était vraiment trop sucré. Par contre la salade caesar & le boeuf était délicieux.
