Every visit to Le Continental is special & this experience was another. Starting off with valet parking from Jeff-who remarkably remembered us-set a wonderful tone for the evening.
Our server, Guy, took excellent care of us throughout the night. His attention to every detail & humor is special. The food was nothing short of outstanding. The oysters on the half shell were incredibly fresh, & watching the lobster flambé being prepared tableside was an absolute highlight. To top it all off, the Brazilian coffees for dessert were spectacular. Amazing food, stellar service, & a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended to everyone!

I made a reservation to eat here as, honestly, there weren't many reservations left the weekend before Christmas & I managed to grab this one. Absolutely outstanding. It felt very old school, but in a good way! They opened the door to my Uber, which was so unexpected, & we were greeted at the door by the maitre d', as well as 3 or 4 waitstaff. Someone offered to take our coats & then we were seated. They will cook some of their offerings tableside. A proposal took place while we were there & was announced by the maitre d' after she accepted, with the whole restaurant celebrating the engagement. Everyone was super attentive & great at clearing the table or refilling waters without being disruptive. Our food was, I'm told, outstanding. Unfortunately, I had a cold & couldn't taste anything. Ugh, so frustrating. But my steak was tender & my family said everything (including my meal) was delicious! I would love to go back & order the same thing & actually taste it this time!!!
Outstanding service & duck. The sauce made from the stock of the bones was so good! If we are in town again we will return to try other dishes. The staff are very funny.
Greeting at the door was very friendly. Service was impeccable & the food was outstanding. We enjoyed the veal sweetbreads & were spoiled by the crepes suzette prepared tableside.
