My fiancé & I had an enchanted evening here celebrating my birthday. The tableside service was unique & impeccable, & the ambiance oozes old-world classic elegance. We had the Caesar salad, crab appetizer & the chateaubriand for two & everything was delicious.

We were absolutely stuffed by the end — too stuffed for dessert! Our waiter still brought us some raspberry sorbet with a birthday candle, which was such a sweet touch that I truly appreciated. All in all I felt very pampered & special & I will really treasure that memory. It's very expensive, but worth it for a special treat. One of these days we'll be back to try the sole meunière. :)

Celebrated our wedding anniversary last night & it was exactly af advertised. Classic French food in a romantic atmosphere with exceptional service that created a new beautiful August 22nd memory for us

Le Continental is a charming old fashioned French Restaurant with modern day twist on old fashioned classics. If you want to be transported back in time when customer service still existed, then you have found your place. Not only is Le Continental aesthetically beautiful on the outside, but inside you will find old world charm & elegance from a long gone era while eating classic French Fare. We highly recommend you take the plunge & reserve a table to the way things used to be in the Grand Dame of Canadian Restaurants in the heart of Old Quebec. You won't go wrong with Le Continental. Exceptional old school classic French restaurant,Come for the experience of gueridon cooking...a dying art form in the restaurant world...Service was awesome, food was great, interaction with the staff was very professional,engaging & welcoming despite the language barrier...this is not a cheap night out but you are paying for the experience & well worth the money spent...relax & enjoy the culinary journey...

A fine, classic French restaurant in a class far above the usual bistros that exist throughout old Quebec City. A very special restaurant for special occasions like our 52nd wedding anniversary!!

Excellent. A classic steak house in my opinion that probably hasn't changed the way they present their flambee dishes since they started in 1956 ! waiters in white jackets add to the nostalgia. Excellent in all regards.
