Excellent! I could only enter 4 or 5 stars so I choice 4 but 4.5 is more accurate. A pleasant evening in a elegant setting. To begin we were in Quebec City for 2 days & only brought casual cloths. Most of the other diners were dressed business casual & plus, but we were treated no differently & anyone else. Truly we had a marvelous geuridon experience & culinary show. Service was flawless & our waiter was enjoyably engaged with us & explained about each of the dishes he prepared for us. As much as the food was delicious his interaction was just as important.
Plan on a long meal experience. We never felt rushed & between our drink order to dessert we enjoyed time to sit back & appreciate each course. There were 6 of us & 1/2 had our entree prepared at the table & 1/2 by the kitchen. The timing to have it all at our table at once was impressive.
Cost for sure is $$$$, look at the menu before you reserve, so expect the prices & you won't be surprised or shocked at dinners end. The wine menu was extensive from affordable to need to take out a loan. All is al le Carter. & you have many choices. Take advantage of the flaming entrees & desserts! We all highly recommend Le Continental, Quebec City

We could not wait to come here because of how popular we heard this restaurant was. All of our filet mignon's were over cooked which was a big disappointment. The appetizers were awesome & so were the desserts.
Nice restaurant with good service although they didn't clean our table full of crumbs & food at all. Well known for tableside flambé dinners & desserts
Food very good but overpriced. Arrogant service. Waiter seemed to forget about us after our main course even though it was not that busy. Ice cream arrived 10 minutes after the rest of the dessert even though all ordered at same time. I would not go back.
The food & atmosphere was absolutely wonderful! Our waiter was fantastic & treated us exceptional. The food was excellent & some of the best we have eaten on our whole trip! My birthday dessert of crepe suzettes cooked table side was by far the most delicious while being sung to! Thanks for a most pleasant ending to our trip!
From the initial warm welcome to the impeccable (& entertaining) service & the classic beautifully presented French dishes, we enjoyed another memorable evening at Le Continental. The following evening, after a disappointing dinner elsewhere, we skipped dessert & headed back to Le Continental. We were so grateful you were able to squeeze us in! We shared a cheese course, a repeat of the excellent Parmesan Fondue appetizer, the must-have Crepes Suzette, & an Inniskillen ice wine. Thank you for rescuing our evening! We will of course return the next time we visit Quebec.
Can not go wrong with classic French cuisine executed to perfection. It was FANTASTIC. Our waiter, Kevin, guided is through the wine list, steak offerings, appetizers & desserts. He was friendly while being formal in his white tux & controlled table-side cooking at 4 tables without missing a beat. Our escargot was delicious, we shared a chateaubriand that was flambéed table-side to a perfect medium rare & accompanied with an assortment of vegetables. Tried the cheese plate & it was great. Finished the dinner with our Saint-Emilion Bordeaux a decadent decadent chocolate mouse. The place is on the formal side, but the staff puts you at ease quickly, the Waiters & Chefs know what they are doing. FANTASTIC MEAL WELL WORTH THE PRICE
