My husband & I had the the most amazing Christmas dinner this evening at Restaurant Le Continental! We tasted escargot for the first time & we loved it. We also had crepes Suzette for the first time & they were also amazing! Our server was the best! I wished we had gotten his name. I had Shrimp Newburg & my husband had a filet mignon. Both dishes were delicious! If you happen to find yourself in Quebec, I'd highly recommend going to this restaurant.

This place is ridiculous. The servers are essentially also chefs as they are cooking 50% of what's coming from the kitchen... Old school flambe style cooking. It was excellent overall.. dinner & a show. Highly recommend

Amazing service & delicious food experience. Caesar salad made at the table was the BEST we've had anywhere! Our server Allan made sure the beef cooked right at the table was also a delightful culinary experience; especially the flame at the end! Highly recommend this restaurant when you visit Quebec.

Our visit to La Continental was so much more than a meal, it was an experience. From the moment you walk in, there is an air of professionalism from the staff that assures you will be well taken care of from start to finish. Uniquely, this level of care & attention to their customers does not translate into an establishment that feels overly stuffy. On the contrary, it is relaxed, enjoyable, & easy going. The staff are friendly & helpful in their recommendations for both your meal & beverages. The food was an absolute delight & the portions had us feeling very full & contented by the end. Add to all this the flair of the table side preparations & our visit to La Continental was one I will not soon forget!! Highly recommend!

This place comes highly recommended & we can see why as the setting is great, the menu choices are wonderful but they manage to turn what should be at least 2 hour meal into an hour. We had just started on our Cesear salad which tasted amazing when they started our main. We mentioned we still had an appetizer course & he stopped only to have another server immediately come over & restart our main. Because it is so rushed & you are given no time to settle from the quick three courses we ended up going for a walk & having dessert elsewhere. If they sort out this issue it would easily be a not to be missed restaurant.

Today we went for dinner at Le continental & we were extremely happy with the quantity, & most importantly with the quality of the food. From the moment we entered everyone was extremely friendly & thanked us for choosing Le continental. Actually we want to thank them for the amazing food experience they offered us today. We wanted a different salad to the one they had on the menu, & they went out of their way to make a different salad for us. The duck a l'orange Flambé for 2 was exceptional. The Quebec cheese platter included three types of local cheese which we never tried before but enjoyed the flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is a fan of the French cuisine.

The oldest restaurant in Quebec City, & upscale steak house with well deserved reputation. Has an old fashion very traditional & very attentive service. I had The veal filet mignon with fois grass & it was sublime. Highly recommend this place, but you may need a reservation.
