Charming, highly experienced & attentive staff, delicious food. Our steak cooked & flambéd at table. Chateabriand also very good. Extensive wine list.

What am amazing experience.
Caesar salad dressing was made from scratch at the table & the salad was great. Foie gras (seared) was the best & largest serving I have ever had & was amazing. Steaks were also prepared at the table & were excellent. Our waiter/ preparer was welcoming, entertaining & gave us a great experience.

It wasn't my first time patronizing this restaurant, so my review & impressions are not just based on this most recent visit.

The customer service is always superb, & very attentive from start to end, no matter the size of the party & the demands imparted.

Their wine list/menu is superb & so encompassing, from glass offerings to whole bottles & limited grapes, too.

Their food menu is "traditionally French" but that's by no means a criticism, it's a highlight if anything. Most of the steaks are cooked side table, the Caesar salad is also prepared side table, & so are some/most of the desserts.

If you're looking for an exceptional meal & evening out in Old Quebec - this is it, don't look any further or farther!

An elegant evening with a delicious tableside show, Le Continental delivered a special experience for my wife & I during our visit to Quebec. The filet was in the top tier of steaks we've had in years of fine dining, & the white coat service by seasoned restaurant veterans was both attentive & invisible at once. Highly recommended!

Excellent. A classic steak house in my opinion that probably hasn't changed the way they present their flambee dishes since they started in 1956 ! waiters in white jackets add to the nostalgia. Excellent in all regards.

Le Continental est définitivement le meilleur restaurant dans la ville de Québec! Service impeccable & ambiance décontractée! Un must & incontournable à essayer sont la salade césar & le steak en boîte qui sont préparés devant vous! Peut-être un peu cher comme resto mais ca en vaut quand même l'essaie!!!
