Very few gluten free options & no substitutes possible per the chef. There was 1 appetizer option & then a similar main dish option & risotto. No GF subs possible on the pasta dishes. No option to use tamari (which is GF soy sauce) for soy sauce which might have yielded GF options in several other dishes. As vegan eaters we frequently ask for vegan substitutes at other restaurants so I expected more flexibility & accommodating responses to my celiac issue. There were several dishes that sounded great that I didn't get to try.

We got the carbonada & the fettuccine. Very delicious especially the "bacon" that was on the carbonada I would ask if that could be put on other dishes next time very smoky & bacony great texture.

Absolutely fabulous food, service & atmosphere! We will be going back. The carbonara, risotto, dumplings were so tasty. I look forward to trying more dishes in the future.

No heating & 6.00$ Nespresso lattes from an automatic machine. Food was okay, if vegan remakes of popular dishes are your thing.

Don Vegan is such a great vegan restaurant! The dishes are fresh & creative & so tasty. We went two days in a row on our vacation - would have gone a third time if we didn't have to leave. Thank you for getting how awesome vegan cuisine can be!

Wonderful. Delicious. Comfortable seating. Gracious staff, divine food. If you enjoy savory dishes definitely put Le Don on your to do list when in the Old city of Quebec. I didn't get the names of those that served me, they were AWESOME😀. .....
& the food was heavenly.🤤🤤🤤
